Maya's POV

Everybody was staring at us with pure shock written on their faces, that is except for my mom, she had a proud look in her eyes, she stepped forward and once she was just inches away she turned around so she was now facing my new family and dad, the Luna raised her eyebrow at her and spoke up, "what is it that you know and we don't?" my mom stepped aside so we were fully visible "Maria, alpha Jay this my daughter, your son's future Luna."

Before she had a chance to continue I was in a breath taking hug, my bones cracking one by one but no matter any of that it was pleasant, both Luna and alpha stepped away, Luna still holding my shoulders in her small hands, M.J. shifted his weight from one foot to another, "yeah, this is my lovely mate, thanks aunty for ruining our introduction, we appreciate it" "you ruined it yourselves because you were not able to keep you hands for yourselves long enough to tell every one" she smirked at him.

I couldn't help but laugh at him because he was rolling his eyes like a child at her "Don't you roll your eyes at Aqua, boy, you know better than that." his father spoke up, making me laugh even more. Now everybody was looking at me.

"Hey, what are yall staring at. I am not the childish 22 year-old soon-to-be-alpha that doesn't know how to introduce his mate to his family..." now everybody was laughing except M.J. he was too busy tackling me to the ground. "I thought you had learned your lesson little one" he whispered to me before bitting my ear, "never" I said back to him through laughs.

Before I had a chance to get him off of me, he tickled the life out of me. He stood up and pulled me up with ease. I almost fell but M.J. pulled me closer hugging me tightly.

M.J.'s POV

"Hey, what are yall staring at. I am not the childish 22 year-old soon-to-be-alpha that doesn't know how to introduce his mate to his family..." now everybody was laughing except me, I was tackling Maya to the ground. "I thought you had learned your lesson little one" I whispered to her ear, which I then bit, "never" she said back to me through small cute laughs.

Before she had a chance to get me off of her, I started tickling her. This time I didn't stop as soon as the last time. I stood up and pulled her up with ease. She was so light.

She almost fell but I pulled her, closing the distance between us hugging her tightly. It felt so nice to have her close, safe, mine.

Later on, mom and I talked, she was super excited about this, she mentioned a billion times how you should never let your mate go. No matter what. It sucked being away from my baby girl. I wondered if she felt the same.

Since I first met her, it was hard to not chase her around like a dog chasing a ball. Well... I am part "dog" so I have an excuse.

We all ate lunch together and afterwards Maya and I has some "us time". I had took her around the town and shown her some of my favourite places to hang.

She met some of my friends, but only girls, every time she met a new girl she blushed, I think it was a jealousy blush. But she denied it. She had no reason to be jealous anyway, I'm all her's, and I like it this way.

The last place I took her was a park I spent most of my childhood in. She loved it, she had this light in her eyes when she saw it, making her look even more beautiful. If that was even possible.

Maya's POV

We spent the whole day just talking and having fun. He took me everywhere worth seeing. It was amazing. But he also introduced me to his friends, not one dude... I mean like... I met around 15 single-unmated she-wolves he hangs out with, all hot as hell I might add. But not a single guy, I swore to myself if the last place he takes me, he shows me another girl, I was going to kill him, and her, I was getting jealous, I knew it was dumb but it just didn't feel right having him around those girls. Most of them were really nice to me though.

He took me to a park, he was talking about it the whole day, but when we got there I started to understand why. It reminded me of home.

It was so beautiful, everything about it. The park was a meadow surrounded by trees and in the middle of the meadow there was a huge lake. It was around sunset so the light of the dying sin shone on it perfectly in pink, dark red colour.

We sat near the water, M.J.'s arm around my shoulders, making me feel safe and happy. I turned around to face him, but to my surprise he was already staring at me, I was sure he was watching the sunset like I did, how could you just let such beauty slip away from you.

He leaned in and brushed his lips on mine. I didn't argue with that. The kiss was amazing, not too wet, not to short, yet not a make-out session, perfect in any and every way. Mostly because it was with him.

We were looking at eachother's eyes when we heard footsteps behind us, coming towards us, I didn't recognize the scent, but it seemed like M.J. did. He stiffened and took a protective stance hovering over me, after sniffing the air.
