Maya's POV
All I wanted then was to run, escape, live happily with M.J. somewhere far, far away, where she can't get to us. But like everything in life, that could not happen, not to us... After I started running, she threw a spell of some sort on me, I couldn't move, not even blink, it was as if I was in my worst nightmare, living out my biggest fear, not being able to help. She took me somewhere, separated me from M.J.
I was locked up for at least 3 days, still unable to do anything other that exist, when she opened the door, she broke the spell and took me outside, we were walking and she told me about how in love she's with M.J. and how much he loves her too, she wanted me to let him go, so he could be with her, forever.
She was crazy, I knew that by the way she was talking about him, she even told me about her past with him, listening to her I realized she didn't even understand what she was doing, she has done horrible things without even knowing how bad they were, as time went by I couldn't feel the mate bond as much as I used to. I stared to worry, I had to get out of there.
M.J.'s POV
She stopped me from running after Maya, eventually she stopped Maya. She took Maya with her and left. Leaving me unable to move, several hours later she came back and took me to her home. She gave me food and water and desert too. I didn't eat or drink any of it, I knew better than that. But in the end, after two days I needed water so I drank and the second it touched my lips I felt the bond with Maya fading. Rahina left after that, I didn't see her for a whole day after that.
While I was alone I saw a window on the far end of the room using my claws I cut the ropes that held me tied to the chair. I ran to the window and broke it. I jumped out without even looking down. I was on the third floor so the landing wasn't too painful. I ran and ran, the only thought on my mind being Maya.
