"Aurora!" Jacob yelled, chasing the giggling girl around the house, Charlie had left to take Billy home and Jacob decided to stick around and get to know the girl, but she was in a rather playful mood at the moment.

"Jakie catch me!" She bounced, Jacob getting quite surprised by the energy and the speed she had.

She was just in a playful mood, she never had the chance to act like this and it was making her so happy, and the fact that Jacob didn't seem annoyed at her hyperness just made her want to bounce around even more. She decided to take her thoughts back, she quite liked Jacob, he was a very fun person to be around.

"You're fast." Jacob tried, he actually tried to catch the girl, missing when she would jump back or run through the space between his legs, if it wasn't for the fact that he was a shifter he was positive he would've been tired from all the running and jumping he had to do in order to try and catch the girl.

"Got to try harder than that!" Aurora giggled, she enjoyed running round the house, but she wanted to go outside, she's never left the house besides to eat and even then she was ushered quickly into the diner and back into the car.

"Aurora be careful!" Jacob snacthed her back from running into the side of the dining table, tossing the girl onto the couch where she squealed in excitement, enjoying the rush it gave her.

"I am." She rolled over, she still wanted to run around, but she could tell Jacob was getting tired, "can we go outside." She whined, the couch was comfy, extra comfy with the blanket Jacob bought being draped over it.

"No, Charlie said you're not allowed out of the house until the doctor says otherwise." He was quick to shut it down, he would've let her out if he didn't smell the horrible scent of a vampire lingering around. He had a feeling the Cullens were stalking Aurora and Charlie and thought it'll be a smart idea to inform the pack about them.

"Please, Papa doesn't have to know." She pouted, he probably would've, she was never the sneaky type and would've gotten muddy giving away everything they tried to hide.

"Charlie would know, and I'll be in hot water for allowing you out." He sounded annoyed but in reality he was just worried, he didn't know why the Cullens were watching the poor girl, maybe it was Bella or it could've been one of the others, they all smelt the same to him and it was hard to tell who was who when they smelt so similar, he hoped it was the Cullens and not some other vampire.

"Fine," Aurora frowned, she was bored, though finally her body was beginning to feel tired from all the running around she did. She didn't want to sleep yet, she had so much to do and so much to talk about with Jacob and she refused to sleep it all away.

"Aurora." Jacob signed, the girl had such a determined look on her face that it was kinda funny, she obviously wanted to sleep but was choosing not too because of some reason unknown to him.

"Aurora go to sleep." They haven't talked much, once Charlie left, she got up to start running around the house leaving Jacob in shock and in a hurry to catch her before she got hurt.

"I'm not tired." She yawned, and like a child refused to give in and sleep like it was some form of punishment and not reward.

"You are," he smiled, she was so cute, he didn't think these types of girls would be his type but Aurora left his mouth dry at times, with the owlish blinking and cute pouts when something didn't go her way, it snatched the very breath from his lungs.

He was always the hopeless romantic, always wanting to have a girl he could take care of and love for the rest of his life like his father and mother. It was his dream, but this girl right here, no matter how much he enjoyed and loved her presence, she wasn't his imprint. She wasn't anything to him and that upset him. First it was Bella, and now it would soon be Aurora who would be snatched from him.

It upset him. Made him want to keep the girl far from the other wolves in fear of them imprinting on her, he'll be forced to watch her love someone else than, but at least it wouldn't be with a leech, he would have his heart ripped out before he allowed another girl he loved to be taken by his sworn enemy.

"I'll nap with you." It was early noon anyways, he would be patrolling at this time, but since he was here at Charlie's house he was excused this time around.

"You will?" Aurora sleepily smiled, she wouldn't admit it, but she was quite happy the talking heater was going to snuggle along with her, keeping her nice and toasty while she slept, "we can share a blanket!" She was quick to flip up one side of the blanket she was laying on to reveal a sliver of room left for Jacob.

"Thank you." He signed, he couldn't fit, but he'd make himself fit if the girl wanted him there, "scoot over." He nudged her, gently, aware that his strength isn't what it used to be. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt the girl while she was already recovering, that'll put her, him, and Charlie in a bad mood, Aurora already wishing to go out and being stuck inside longer than planned because he hurt her would surely leave a bad taste on her tongue.

"I'm over," Aurora whined, she was already pressed tightly against the couch and Jacob's body was pushing her farther than she thought was possible, maybe the heater should've just slept on the other couch.
