Somewhere deep in the woods of Forks, Washington a Rosary shined brightly. The beautiful gem in the middle glowing with an ominous glow as it seemed to soak up the blood that covered it. An elderly woman stood over it, her hands worn and cold as they stayed raised above her head while she mumbled words that barely reached above a whisper. She seemed so happy, euphoric almost with the way her face was relaxed and her smile was soft and content.

"My Lord! I've found our Queen! I've found her!" She gave a joyful groan that borderline sounded similar to a moan, "Aurora is back my Lord, beautiful and radiant like she always has been." The woman gave a gleeful squeal, her lips pulling back so far to showcase all her teeth in their full glory, she was close to fainting, blood felt like it was rushing throughout her body like a broken dam.

"She's! She's so beautiful! Just like you said!" One of the woman's hands reached down into the dirt for the Rosary, carefully picking it up so the blood dried upon it wouldn't be disturbed.

"I, I got the Rosary," She sounded pleased with herself, content, like a mother holding a drawing their child made, "it's covered in my Lady's blood." she smiled again, cupping the Rosary with such care you would think she was holding a baby and not jewelry.

"I know my Lord! I know!" She nodded in glee, "my Lady is just fine, no injury at all!" She took out a handkerchief, whipping away the dirt and leaving the blood untouched, she wouldn't touch the blood, she couldn't touch the blood.

"I'll keep it safe for later." She tucked it away, standing up from the ground with slow movements, "I'll protect my Lady until my Lord is able to do it himself." She nodded to herself, to any outsider it would seem like the lady was talking to herself, and in a way she was talking to herself, talking to nobody except the voice inside her head, that spoke calmly to her, directing her every move.

But besides that, the forest was silent, the sound of the animals gone along with the sound of nature itself, everything was at a stand still, the world moving without making a noise.

"How sad that it's not time for the wings of my Lady to be painted with darkness." The old woman shook her head, she wanted everything to be done and over with so she could have her Lady back, but life wasn't fair, she had to wait, the people had to wait, her Lord had to wait, everyone did and everyone didn't like that.

"You," The woman pointed, her finger being directed to the trees, a bone chilling grin overtaking her face, "come." With a curving motion, the person hiding in the trees jumped down and slowly stepped forward, unable to stop themselves from walking closer and closer with every curve of the woman's finger.

"With this old body of mine, there is only so much I can do. So you'll do it." She brought her finger to their chest, tracing random shapes onto their sternum, "you'll be my helper for the tougher jobs." She gave a grin, "you'll help take care of my Lady." She pulled away, the person standing tall and unmoving as the older woman began making her way through the scrubs.

"After all, her Highness must surrender her wings to darkness for the next phase to begin." She thought nothing of the plans that were soon to commence to make the unfortunate happen, the wings must wither, it was the only way, and with the help of a vampire with such power would surely speed the process.

Though the vampire remained still, their dark hair seemingly shining in the afternoon sun as a smooth purr ran throughout their chest. The smell of the blood was enticing, so pure and untouched, it made their nonexistent heart flutter in delight, something they haven't felt in a long time but they knew something was wrong. Their heart ached seeing the dried bits of it on the overgrown grass mix with the mud, the Rosary that woman had, was no longer a Rosary, it was stained with the blood of a Angel, turning into a timer of some sort, that diamond would predict the fall when it loses it pure color, they've seen it happen before, they've watched it go down.

But deep down in their heart, they felt like this wasn't going to turn out like the last time, it might be worse or it might be better, but it wouldn't be like last time. They had no clue which path destiny would go down, but the mark that now burned into his chest told them one thing and one thing only. Protect and provide, two things they were vastly good at, but there was no time for that, they had to finish feeding, there was a meeting that was going to take place and they needed to be in their prime.
