Apparently I had gotten another power because suddenly i was lifted off of the ground and hung in midair.
Nobody moved. I guess they thought it was a ghost or something, but I would know if it was a ghost. I have been able to see them since I had watched the light go out of my aunt/mum's eyes.
I know its weird, but when life throws something at you, you have no choice but to keep it. And it threw the sight of seeing ghosts at me.
Lucky me.
Note the sarcasm. That's because it was a burden and a gift. I can see ghosts, and they know that. So when they need something, guess who they go to. Me. That's right me.
"I guess I got another power. You seriously need to stop with the new powers mother. I can barely keep up with the ones I have now." I said to myself and my mother.
I heard a light twinkle of a laugh. I guess the boys heard it to, because they looked right at the source of the sound. Which was right in front of me.
She moved me so that I was sitting cross-legged on the ground in front of her. She did the same to the boys. Except for they all formed a circle around her.
"OK. So. You know that you are able to hear every living thing's thought now, right? OK. Well, you also got the power of levitation. You also have the power to become invisible." She said and everybody looked at me like I was a specimen under the microscope.
"Don't look at me like that! I'm not a specimen you can stare at! I am a human bei- well. I am not something you need to stare at." I screamed and they all looked shocked at my outburst.
I got up and stormed away from everybody and to my room. I ignored the calls from everybody and kept on trucking. Well that was until I was pulled into someone's chest.
I looked up and was met by the chocolate brown eyes. Liam's eyes.
"Why are you running? I just looked at you surprised. We all just looked at you surprised." He said.
"You don't understand. None of you do. Well, my mother does, but that doesn't count. I have been in a lab. Under a microscope. Somebody had seen me use my powers and had told the government. They took me in and I was there for a year." I said and he almost cried.
"Who was it?" He asked, his voice husky.
"It was...."
Haha. Another cliffhanger.
