I ran into one of the doors that were by me and there were stairs. I started to run up them, but got pulled back by Niall. He wrapped his arms around my middle and held me to his chest so I wouldn't be able to move.
"You don't want to go up those steps. Those are the steps that have a spell on them. Everybody is different so I don't know what will happen to you if you go up them, but with me, it made me not want to eat anything. Like ever. For Harry, it turned him into an animal. It was almost like he was a shape shifter. For Louis, it made him into a rabbit. He was a rabbit for an entire day. Zayn started to see the past and future. Which is where he got his gift he has now. And Liam, well, he hasn't been stupid enough to go up them yet." He explained when he saw me look at him like he was crazy for holding me back.
"Can I try and see what it does to me?" I asked.
"Let me ask the guys. GUYS!" He yelled. Right in my eari might add.
I cringed and he said sorry.
I nodded to let him know I was okay.
The boys all ran to where we were and when Liam saw the way we were standing, he suddenly started to look really mad.
The rest of the boys noticed this too, but didnt do anything to stop it.
I pried Niall's hands off of me and made my way over to him. I stood on my tippy-toes and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him to me in a tight hug.
His arms went to the small of my back and pulled me even closer to him then we already were. He instantly relaxed when I touched him.
"I've never seen him get mad so fast. Or calm down that fast either. You are a great influence on him Michelle." Zayn said and I snuggled my face in Liam's neck. He did the same to me.
"Its like you were made for each other. You two are me want for each other. You are mates." Zayn finished and I felt a spark go through me. Like I touched a turned on electric fence.
I jumped away from Liam in shock and he looked at me like he felt the same thing. I think he did because he shook himself like he was trying to get rid of the shivers.
"What just happened between you?" Harry asked and I shook my head.
"I have absolutely no idea. I just know that after Zayn said that we are mates that I felt a spark shoot through my body where it was touching Li." I said and Li nodded in agreement.
"Michelle, Liam? Do you have an alter ego? Like how a werewolf has the human and then the wolf?" Niall asked.
"Yeah. Alice. Why?" I said and he looked at Liam.
"Yeah. Caleb. What's going on? Why do you need to know that?" He asked.
"Michelle, you need to go up those steps. Liam you too. We need to know what they do to you." Niall said suddenly very serious.
"Okay. I'll go. On one condition. Li goes with me." I said suddenly very scared.
"Yeah. He can go with you." Zayn said and I nodded.
I took Liam's hand and intertwined our fingers. I pulled him with me to the stairs.
"How far are we supposed to go?" I asked before we started to actually go up them.
"Until you feel something." Louis said and we both nodded.
We walked about halfway up them before I felt tingly all over. My hair started to turn black and my eyes a bright yellow. I started to glow. Like burn glow.
Loam hissed and let go of my hand. I fell to the ground holding my head and screaming bloody murder.
I could read minds before, but this was like nothing I have ever experienced. I could hear every thought of every animal, every human, and every supernatural. All at once.
It sucked. I couldn't move. None of the boys could come in the stairwell because of what it would do to them, but Liam was already in here and it didn't seem to be effecting him, so he picked me up and brought me out.
The second he stepped out everything quietened down. It was still there, but just quieter. Muche quieter than it was before.
"What the h/ll was that? I felt everything that she was feeling except for it was not anywhere as bad as what she was feeling. It was just a fraction of her pain. What is going on?" Liam said very confused.
I opened my eyes to see him looking at me with very concerned eyes.
I didn't think. I just...
Hahaha. Cliffhanger.
