"Who was it?" He asked, his voice husky.
"It was my dad. He didn't know that I could do the things I could and so he got fascinated and sent me somewhere to be testee on and see what I was exactly." I said and Liam gripped me tighter to him.
I buried my face in his chest and cried.
I cried for my mother and my aunt. I cried because I was angry at my uncle for doing something that horrible to me. Barely a two year old. And I cried because nobody would understand what goes on in my mind.
"Shh. Its gonna be OK." Li whispered in my ear.
I fell to the ground and Li picked me up bridal style.
"I'm going to take her to her room. She needs to sleep this off." I heard him say.
Apparently they all agreed because I was suddenly being carried away from everybody.
We got to my room and Liam laid me on my bed and pulled the covers around me.
He kissed my forehead and went to walk away.
I grabbed his hand and made a whimpering sound.
"Please stay until I fall asleep." I whimpered and he nodded.
He laid down on the bed with me and pulled me into his chest. I put my head on his chest.
"Hey Liam? What are we?" I asked shyly.
"Well, I'm not sure. I know that I like you. Well, actually, I love you. And I think that you love me too. So, Michelle Dawn Bell. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me after he said all of that.
I was in shock.
"Yes." I said after I got over the shock.
He picked my face up and placed a light kiss to my lips. It started to get heated when he licked my lip, wanting me to open my mouth, so I pulled away.
I needed the air anyway.
"Sorry Li. I- I'm just not ready for that yet." I apologized and he shook his head.
"Don't apologize. I didn't mean to go that far. You need to get some sleep. If you sleep it off, we can talk in the morning OK?" He said and I nodded.
I snuggled my head into his chest once again.
The last thing I heard before the sweet darkness enveloped me was Liam saying 'I love you Shelly.'
Then I fell asleep.
