Eddie was still pissed at Buck, it had been nearly 3 months since the lawsuit, since the betrayl of Buck seeped into his mind, igniting a flame inside of him. An insatiable anger, he thought street fighting would help to quench the anger, it only made him wounded and more angrier at others around him.

Especially Buck, when he first came back he tried apologising, Eddie was having none of it and stormed off every time. Buck gave up talking to Eddie and he missed it. No he was glad, him and Christopher didn't need Buck anymore.

Yes you do

His inner voice grates on him as the truck is heading back towards the station, the last call having been a microwave set on fire and a scared cat up a tree. Eddie yearned for a shower to help his mind escape, as soon as the truck stopped he leaped out, ignorant to the conversations others had as he made his way towards the showers.

As he was taking the shower his mind went back to before the tsunami, when Buck came over every Friday for movie night, his recovery slowly unfurling in front of Eddie as he went from slowly making his way into the house on crutches to hobbling into the house and then the Buck step he'd come to know.

And love.

He wishes his inner voice would allow him to have a moments peace. After getting out the shower he swiftly got changed and headed towards the kitchen, only to bump into Buck whose shift had ended 20 minutes ago, no he didn't know that or care.

Once seeing Buck used to make him smile, a grin that was reserved for Shannon, his first love and Christopher, his main love. However Eddie refused to let anyone see him smile although it pained him when Bucks grin, once aimed towards him slowly drifted away into a face of indifference.

Eddie felt mad and he directed the anger towards Buck, whose face dropped as he left the station. Eddie felt a slight twinge of guilt at this but shook his head to rid himself of the thought.

With his appetite disappearing, Eddie headed towards the gym and started wrapping a couple of bandages on his hands.

3hrs Later

Although Eddie loved the family meal with the 118 where they got to debrief, he felt like something was missing.

Buck

He did not miss Buck, not at all, however Christopher missed Buck and after every shift if Christopher was awake he'd ask Eddie,

"When is Buck next coming over?"

This unlocked feelings of guilt within Eddie, that him and Buck couldn't resolve the issues between them so that Buck could see Christopher and Eddie could see Buck.

Eddie decided that for Christopher's sake, when Buck was next at work he'd talk to him, tell him that he missed him and listen to what Buck had to say before coming to an agreement to allow Buck to see Christopher.

Whilst Eddie was having an internal conversation with himself he noticed from the corner of his eye Bobby's movements, he'd originally went to take a phone call in his office and appeared to look distressed, pacing back and forth. Eddie's eyebrows raised in concern, standing up off the sofa he made his way towards the office.

Only for the alarm to go off,

"Engine 118, Ambulance 118"

Everyone quickly moved towards their turnouts, getting suited and gathering their helmets before getting into the engine.

Bobby was the last to enter, his face looking deeply concerned and was that tears.
