I'm sorry James...

Chapter 1

It was a lovely day on Sodor, the soft snow on the ground, the beautiful pine trees glittering with snow, and beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky and the Steam Team was getting ready for the winter holidays.

"Thomas do you got the star for the Christmas tree??" Yelled Henry from the other living room putting the lights on the Christmas tree.

"Yeah, I got it!!!" Thomas said excitedly while running over to where the tree was almost running into Emily on the way.

"Woah there Thomas slow down your gonna run into somebody!!" Emily said while laughing. Percy was helping Rosie and Edward put up some of the ornaments and James went shopping for Christmas presents. Thomas then floated to the top of the Christmas tree and put the star on the top and then proceed to float back down. Henry then turned on the lights and the tree lit up causing a bright beautiful light to shine.

An hour later

Thomas and Percy were helping make little gingerbread cookies with Henry and Edward,

"Look this one got a mustache!!" Said Percy happily while holding up the cookie he decorated looking very proud while Thomas laughed. Then James arrived with a few bags and Thomas and Percy rushed over to meet him.

"WHAT DID YOU GET FOR US??!!! :D" Thomas said excitedly while jumping up and down all over the place with Percy. "I'm not telling or it won't be surprised," James said smirking while rolling his eye while Edward was walking near him.

"How's my precious sapphire doing?~," James asked while hugging Edward then proceeding to kiss him. "I'm fine love just making cookies with Henry and the kids," Edward said while brushing some of the snow off him and then kissing his cheek.

"You know, we could all go outside and maybe make snow angels and stuff" Thomas suggested and they all agreed.

5 minutes later

The Steam team was all having fun outside building a snowman, making snow angels, and snowball fights but Edward started to feel dizzy and James noticed that so he rushed over to make sure his precious sapphire was okay.

"Baby are you okay? You're not looking good.." James asked while kneeling down to Edward who was sitting on the ground.

"Yeah I'm fine just a bit dizzy..." Edward said while James helped him stand up. Everything was good until suddenly a black light beam came out of nowhere making everyone in shock. A huge wind force was knocking them back until the figure appeared...it was a shadow with bright red glowing eyes and an evil smirk and it laughed.

"WHAT THE HELL??!! I THOUGHT THAT WAS GONE FOR GOOD!!!" Emily yelled while the others stared in shock.

"N-no...not again!!" Edward said while he looked like he witnessed a death.

"HAHAHAHAH YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN RID OF ME THEN BUT YOU HAVEN'T GOT RID OF ME FOR GOOD AHHAHAHAH!!!!!" The shadow laughed..."IF YOU WANT TO GED RID OF ME FOR GOOD THEN YOUR GONNA HAVE TO FIGHT ME FOR IT!!!"

Everyone just stood there and then they agreed to take him on for their freedom of it's torture... They all fought really hard with their powers, beams of their magic blasted everywhere.

"THIS THING IS TOO HARD TO FIGHT!!!" Thomas yelled but then the shadow blasted at him so hard he hit the wall and blasted him a couple more times...he was now dead.

"THOMAS!!!!!" Percy yelled but then the shadow blasted him as well killing him. This went on until there were 3 left... Edward, James, and Gordon but Gordon then got killed as well...

"EDDIE ITS NO USE!!!! THE SHADOW KILLED HALF OF OUR FRIENDS ITS TOO STRONG!! CALL IN FOR BAC-" But before James could finish his sentence the Shadow killed him off too.

"JAMES!!!!!" Edward yelled while looking at James' lifeless body... Edward flew over there and bent down over James.

"NO...NO YOU CAN'T BE DEAD...JAMES PLEASE WAKE UP!!!" but it was no use James was already dead. Edward just sat there crying but then he had enough...He went full on raging mode on the shadow using everything he got until he got knocked back...and then everything went black...
