personality: on the surface, cordelia seems like a cold, spoiled brat. coming from a rich and powerful family, she rarely talks to anyone, even those considered to be apart of her social group. while the coldness is not a complete act, below the surface she is a bit kinder than others give her credit for. she had a naturally competitive spirit, disliking any sort of cheating or advantages. cordelia is also very lonely, craving a real human connection and not those manufactured through status or family. backstory: cordelia is the first born of the rosier family, a pure-blooded family. she was raised to be the perfect daughter and wife to whoever her family chose in order to keep their pure-blooded heritage. cordelia stayed mostly indifferent to the teachings of her family, treating muggle-borns, half-bloods, and other pure-bloods with the same cold indifference. despite her rudeness to almost everyone, she was very popular amongst slytherins at school as she was seen as being a perfect pure-blood daughter. during her second year at hogwarts, cordelia joined the slytherin quidditch team as a chaser and started rivalry with the gryffindor keeper, oliver wood. while not friends, the two engaged in lots of teasing and banter on the quidditch field with cordelia even flirting with him sometimes in an attempt to distract him. the summer before her last year at hogwarts, cordelia was offered a chance to play quidditch professionally on the puddlemere team, something her parents forbid. cordelia lashed out at them for the first time, refusing to marry the pure-blood they had chosen. this caused her to be a social outcast her last year at hogwarts though she did eventually become friends with oliver after they found out they were going to be on the same team after school. skills: quidditch, charms, potions best friends: none friends: none frenemies: oliver wood enemies: none love interest: oliver wood relationship status: single
