When we get to his house he sneaks me in through his little sister's window before coming to get me after walking past Sam who's in the living room. We sit in his room together as I look around. It's not as crazy as I thought it'd be. There's a few posters on the walls but they're not as revealing as I thought they'd be. His room is extremely tidy for a teenage boy. .
We sit down and he shows me all his magazine's and records, they're pretty amazing. I know he's probably just trying to distract me cause I'm sure he heard the conversation between me and Jonathan.
There's a knock on the door. A female's voice sounds through. "Billy?" I freeze. "I'm a little busy in here, Susan." "OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW!!" Billy visibly stiffens because of the man before looking at me apologetically and opening the door.
"What's wrong?" "You tell us." He looks at them confused. "I don't know what's wrong?" "Maxine is missing and her window is open." The man glares at Billy. "Where is she?" "I don't know. Sam was looking after her. He's been with her since yesterday. He kicked me out yesterday saying he didn't want my annoying ass in the house cause I was breathing too loudly. So I left."
"I came back literally 20 minutes ago." "And you were too busy with this whore to notice your sister was missing." I gasp offended. I am NOT a whore. Sam walks up behind him. "I can't believe you're trying to blame me Billy. You left the house saying that you'd rather hang out with Jessica than be around me."
Billy is about to defend himself but then he takes a look at Sam's face and shuts himself up. I almost groan out loud. Why does he let him get away with everything. The guy who's most probably Billy's dad glares at him. "So you lied to me?" Billy looks down and doesn't answer.
Suddenly the man grabs him and shoves him against the bookshelf keeping his hands on Billy's collar. I gasp. He glares at Billy. "What did we talk about?" Billy tries to hide his emotions but I can see it in his eyes. He's terrified. When he doesn't answer quick enough, his dad slaps him.
"What did we... talk about?" "Respect and responsibility." His dad nods. "That is right. Now apologize to Susan." My heart is breaking for him. "I'm sorry, Susan." Susan shakes her head. "It's ok Neil, really," but his dad interrupts her. "No, it's not okay. Nothing about his behaviour is okay. But he's gonna make up for it. He's gonna drop this whore off wherever he found her and then he's gonna look for his little sister like the good, kind, respectful brother he is. Isn't that right?"
Billy is barely breathing scared to make the wrong move but sadly not moving is the wrong move. "I SAID ISN'T THAT RIGHT BILLY?!" Billy nods. "Yes, sir." Neil leans closer. "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you." Billy speaks louder. "Yes, sir."
He nods. "Find Max." He leaves the room with Susan and Sam leaves behind them before turning back slowly. "I'm coming with you. I'll wait for you in the car but don't take too long." He grabs the keys before going to Billy's car.
As soon as Sam's gone a tear rolls down Billy's face and I immediately hug him. He accepts it slowly hugging me back. "I'll help you look. If she's hanging out with my brothers friends, I know where each of them live." He nods.
Sam sees me walking to the car and he glares at me. "I know where everyone lives. It will go much quicker with me here." He groans. "Fine where to." I give him the address to the Sinclair's house.
