Taehyung watched with shocked eyes as the chopper spiraled down into the Han River. Was it really over? Taehyung's knees gave out and he fell to the floor. They didn't lose. He didn't lose. Things were finally over.
"Good lord!!" Bambam's awed voice sounded from behind Taehyung and the latter turned to look at the captain.
Taehyung gave a shaky laugh, his whole frame shaking with vibrations from being too emotionally drained. Bambam looked at Taehyung for a second before bending down and wrapping him in an embrace, while a proud smile adorned his own face.
"What happened?!" Namjoon's voice startled all of them and Bambam hurried to answer the chief's question.
"The chopper went down. Jin did it. It's over. Chief."
A wave of relief washed through the control room and everyone erupted into celebrations. Jimin ran to hug Namjoon who seemed close to fainting while Jungkook hid his face on Yoongi's shoulder.
His sister's soul, as well as countless others, can now finally rest in peace. Jungkook quietly sobbed on Yoongi's shoulder while the elder gently patted his back. Yoongi glanced at Jimin over Jungkook's shoulder and Jimin looked at him at the same time.
A small smile and a nod was passed between them. A smile of comradeship and maybe even of friendship. It was a team effort and for that, both were extremely proud of themselves and each other.
But their euphoric state was disrupted by a sudden voice from the speaker.
"Captain!! He's not good.!!"

Jin felt his eyes starting to close and shook his head to stay awake. He had to take this shot. He can't let his team down. Jin gathered every bit of energy in his body and took that shot.
He knew it was hit. He hadn't missed ever before and he'll be damned if he stared now. Only a few seconds was all it needed to see the result and the last thing Jin saw as he lost consciousness was the chopper spiraling down.
His work here was done.
"Jin!!" Jinyoung yelled as the elder fell to the floor.
He and Mark both rushed to assist the marksman but it seems like Jin had already lost too much blood. As the effect of adrenaline left his body, Jin couldn't hold in any more.
Jinyoung started the emergency medical assistance but it was nowhere near enough for Jin's condition. He gave a nod to Mark who understood the situation and they both carried the unconscious man to the chopper.
"Captain!! He's not good.!!" Mark yelled to his comm device as Jinyoung instructed the pilot to take them to the nearest hospital.
Bambam's answer was immediate. "Take him. Hurry!!"
"Mark?" Namjoon's voice came through the next second. "What's wrong with Jin?."
"He was shot, Chief. He had lost too much blood and his pulse is really weak too. ETA for the hospital is about 5 minutes." Mark answered quickly.
It took a few seconds for Namjoon to reply back. Everyone was concerned and worried for their marksman but it should be at least tenfold for Namjoon.
"Ok. Keep me posted."

Locals, along with swimmers, were assigned to retrieve the bodies from the chopper. The pilot was still inside the chopper and Sehun's body was found about 20 meters away. They couldn't find Jay's body but it was highly unlikely he survived.
