Like everyone else, I like to sleep, but unfortunately this couldn't happen today. Later today I will have my last exam, so I had to get out of my warm bed and find a comfortable and secluded place to gather my thoughts and remember everything I need. After my morning routine in the bathroom, I went down to the kitchen to help Mom and Sultan abla with breakfast for the Tunahan family. Then I went back to my room to start preparing.
The sun was shining through my window, the weather was so nice outside, which made me very angry because I was inside with my books. What's more, I was thinking of going out and study outside - my bosses' yard is so big and beautiful that it will even give me pleasure to breathe a little of the aroma of the many flowers. Fortunately, I work with the right people who don't mind me preparing for my exams and putting work aside for at least a while, I'm so grateful for that!
I sat in a chair among the green grass and placed my notebooks on the table in front of me, looking up at the sun and letting it shine on me and give me strength. I took a breath of fresh air and got to work. What bothered me the most was that due to a few missed lectures, I was now forced to read the notes of my colleagues on the phone, which was torture. I want my laptop to come to life from the dead, but no, after Sultan abla poured water on it - my laptop never came back to life again ..
"Günaydın!" - Someone shouted behind me. I knew this thick voice. The man took off his sunglasses and instead of getting in his car, which he would have done if he hadn't seen me, he started moving here.
"Günaydın, Barış Bey" - I greeted him out of politeness, although he interrupted my concentration.
"Bey?"
"Oh, yes, that's right, I'm sorry." - He smiled at me. At least one of us has a good morning.
"What are you doing, why are you here?" he asked, looking at everything I've scattered on the table.
"I um.., I have a final exam today, I'm studying... outside"
"And I think you were distracting yourself with your phone?"
"Öyle bir şey yok. I read my lectures on it , in fact" - I corrected him. Does he think I'm undisciplined?!
"Ah, I'm sorry then. Laptop? " - Is this man out of work?
"It's not alive anymore," I said, and he laughed.
"I like your way of thinking" - Ne? - "I'm sorry for your loss, then. I will leave you alone then, I have work to do in the office, the builders can't do anythong without me. Goodbye, Zeynep "- I nodded without saying anything, happy that I could continue what I started. "Oh, I would have forgotten," he said. - "Good luck with the exam!" - he wished me with a smile, put on his glasses and got in his car. I didn't answer him again. I nodded like a teenager. Anyway, back to studying...
...
My day passed slow and my exam - even slower. In a few days the results of all the exams will come out and if they are good I will finally get my diploma, and I have no idea what to do next. Last night I spent the whole night thinking about Barış Bey's offer. On the one hand, I would very much like to do an internship in a successful company like his, with good professionals and a boss I actually know, but... Is it a good idea to see this person so often? I mean, we live in the same house, I make his bed, I make his family's breakfast, and seeing him at work all day will come too much. I've had some hatred for him since he was a kid. My thoughts were constantly shifting from one side to the other, and there was little time left to decide and sign up for an internship.
