Two weeks've passed since my conversation with Sultan abla, after which I tried to sort things out, tried to take a step back from him. But my attempts usually stop the moment he offers me a cup of coffee while we work, when he insists on taking me home or when he comes back later and asks me if I will stay with him while he has dinner. I am so angry that I never say no.

Today is another Monday and I am already taking a taxi to the building where I work. Due to previous experience, I leave fifteen minutes early in case I get into traffic. If that doesn't happen, I have time for a cup of coffee before work begins. It will soon be a month since I am an intern here, and I have the feeling that I have been here all my life, I got so used to it ... I would not want to part with this place and the people here when my internship expires and I find out if I will get a real job as a lawyer here.

As I travel and get out of the cab, I think about my mom and what she told me this morning. Dad had mentioned to her that I don't care about him at all, he hasn't seen me in weeks. And so it is. Since the last time Barış took me here on y father's birthday, I haven't returned . Maybe it's a good idea to go after work today. I'm going to get some things out of my room, too.

I enter the building with confident steps and reach my desk. Here is only Ceren and Leyla - the girl desk is next to mine and we often talk while working. She is not an intern and always guides me if I have questions.

I leave my things on the chair and head to the bar in the big office - the place where all the employees can rest, have a sip of coffee from the abandoned machine or pour a glass of cold water - there was a machine for that. Not to mention that in this corner there is even a refrigerator, which is always full and everything is at the expense of the company. Barış Bey is definitely boss everyone likes.

I drink my coffee until it's time to start the workday. Barış Bey arrives seconds before the clock strikes eight. I don't know how he does it, he's always on time. With a phone in his hand and a hurried step, he walks past us, not forgetting to greet us with "good morning". We greet him together and everyone goes after their business.

The closer I get to the end of my probationary period, the more work I get each week. Today I will definitely stay after working hours.

And so it is, at the end of the working day - six o'clock, I am only halfway to the first task that the blue-eyed prince has given to all interns. They don't look as worried as I do, because just a minute before six, they leave the building.

Only me, Ceren, Leyla and Barış Bey, who has been in a meeting for an hour and a half through a video call on his laptop, remain on the floor, still working. Ceren said he is talking with important clients  he would do anything to make them sign a contract with us. From time to time I turn to his office out of curiosity and to read from my boss's eyes whether things are going well. He smiled at the words of the man speaking, a good sign, or so his assistant suggested.

Finishing my work for today, I close my laptop with tired eyes and begin to prepare to leave. As I waite for Leyla to finish so we could split the bill for a cab, footsteps and a male voice are heard in the hallway, shouting Barış Bey's name several times.

When I peek in to see who could do such a thing, I see a familiar male face. I don't know who he is, I just know I've seen him around, he probably works here. His tie is rather loose, too loose, and his shirt doesn't fit snugly. It was curved, which leads me to one thought.

I remembered my father and his condition when he drank too much. This man walking to Barış's office is definitely in a similar position. I try to stop him before he breaks into the office and interrups our boss's conversation, but Ceren pulled me away before I could intervene. She is right, the man was unpredictable, he was drunk after all.
