Authors note: Hola. I’m Kelli. This story was inspired by the Sims XDD. I don’t know if any of you have ever played it, I haven’t played it in forever but in the Sims 2 when one of your Sims died you had an option to have a violin completion against death for the life of your poor simmy. Anyway, I hope you like it. c: Dedicated to the above person because she wrote an excellent guide to writing on wattpad and you should go check it out. Also in the video section, is the song they’re playing, in case you needed to hear it. (Just skip to around 40 seconds or so) Sorry for the short chapter, but this seemed like a good place to cut it off.
Song of the day: Dance till we die – Patent pending c:

Knock. Knock. Knock.
Urg. I put my bow down, to find out who was at my door. Whoever it was, was going to have to pay for interrupting my practice session.
“What-“ I stared at my brother, then my blue eyes saw big manila envelope in his hands. “Is it from Julliard?” I asked. Not wanting to seem too excited, yet, I couldn’t stand still. Instead I pulled my hair down from the messy bun it had been piled into on top of my head.
“What do you think?” Elliot asked, with an outstretched hand, he handed the envelope to me.
What if I got rejected? What if they turned me down?
There were no positive thoughts running through my mind, as I looked at the envelope now in my hands, and hugged it to my chest.
“Open it,” Elliot said as his eyes scanned my position, “Come on Zaida you’ve got to know they said yes to you, you’re like a prodigy.”
It was true my track record was amazing, but that didn’t mean anything.
“You do it.” I said, as I shoved the envelope back towards him, “ I can’t,” I took a deep breath as I watched him tear the envelope open.
“Wait! I want to do it,” I exclaimed before he could tear a hole no longer than in inch in the top of the envelope. He handed it back to me.
“No you do it,” I decided, before handing it back to him.
I can’t do this… what if it says no?
“Zaida, chill,” he started, as he ripped the envelope some more, enough for the papers to be pulled out, my brother was silent for a second, as his eyes scanned over the white paper in front of him, without an expression crossing his face.
Oh my god. They said no.
“What’s it say?” I asked, anxious, to hear the answer, yet not wanting to hear it.
“Ahem,” He cleared his throat, “We are pleased to congratulate you-“ I cut him off.
“They said yes?!”
“Hell yes,” he threw the paper down on the ground and wrapped his arms around me in a bear hug, lifting me off the ground, “Zaida you got accepted,” he said excitedly.
“Oh my god,” I said at a loss for words, as I was put back onto my feet, I stumbled, and leaned against the wall, trying to keep myself standing up straight.
“I’m Calling mom, she’s gonna wanna take you out for a nice dinner,” Elliot had already thought ahead of me like always, as he pulled out his phone, immediately putting it on speaker. I was too shocked for words, and was silent as the phone rang, I couldn’t believe they’d accepted me.
It rang three times before she picked up the phone, and I heard her voice speaking from the speaker, I wasn’t sure of the exact conversation, but a half an hour later, I was dressed up in a cute floral dress, and Elliot was pulling me out the door into his lime green Mercedes. Our family was pretty rich to tell the truth, we’d never worried about money, and had more than enough, so paying for college wasn’t a big deal it was just getting accepted.
