A/N: Hey y’all So I just wanted to say that I’m really sorry I haven’t updated in forever and I love all of you. Each and every one of you and thanks to anyone who voted and read and added this to their read later lists, and I know I generally try to thank everyone individually but because I haven’t really been on other than my mobile in a while It would be really hard for me to go back and thank everyone personally, and I’m sorry that I can’t and I really want to.  THANK YOU SO MUCH *HUGS AND COOKIES AND CAKE AND FRENCH FRIES AND TACOS FOR ALL OF YOU* I don’t wanna make this too long, so yeah. Enjoy!

Song of the day: Summer love from Grease because if I hear it one more time I’m going to explode my brain guts all over someone’s face, ok well maybe not. But if you really wanna know how I felt when I was writing this little note thing then open the video up on YouTube and let it play in the background for the entire time you’re reading this.

I hope you guys enjoy middle school, come back and visit me,” Ms. Parker told a group of sixth graders as they left her class room. She had such a melodic voice, that I would never forget she made everything sound good when she said it. Even boring history stories were fun with her, and she had been one of my favorite teachers so far in my education.

“You guys don’t have to do that,” she said to Elliot and Dylan as they stacked chairs in the corner of the room. I stood in the front of the room on the now empty tile floor because all the desks and chairs had been moved out of the way, I just watched and waited to get out of here. What if after these two short months Middle School was just as scary as she made it sound? Right now I was just a donkey, holding all their things as they picked up the class room.

“My momma always said that I should leave a place better then I found it,” Dylan said, he had an accent, when he spoke, and he wasn’t lying, his mom did always say that.

“You guys are so sweet, you’re gonna make some girls very happy wives someday,” Ms. Parker said. Elliot stacked the final chair on and stood staring at the stack as he looked to be examining his work.

Sixth grade was over and now we weren’t in elementary school anymore, it was a little bit scary, but if you didn’t think about it and thought about spending the entire summer hanging out and doing what you wanted with my twin brother and our best friend. This was going to be our greatest summer yet.

“You guys have a great summer and make sure you come back and visit me,” said Ms.Parker in her sweet voice as we walked out of the room into the warm humid afternoon. It looked like rain in the near future, and the clouds were grey in the sky, it was another one of those days with nice skies a pretty morning but horrible stormy afternoons. All summer we got those days, and it was horrible, how were you supposed to do anything when it was going to rain all afternoon as soon as it wasn’t eight thousand degrees?

“It’s gonna rain,” Dylan said

We should probably go home then,” I stated.

“Thanks caption obvious,” Elliot said.

“No problem colonel annoying,” I said with a grin on my face, even then I was bad at comebacks, I was never good at them.

“That’s so stupid Zaida,” Dylan said “don’t you have any better come backs?”

“No she doesn’t lets go,” Elliot finally took his school bag from me as we started walking towards the gate, our elementary school was tiny, but next year we’d be going to a big middle school with lots of kids, and it was scary to think about it that happening next year.
