Peeta's POV:
I'm so relieved that the kids were at school the whole time. When they got home, Katniss and I hugged and kissed them. More than usual. We asked the kids how they got ready and are and everything! They just said "It takes skill," like it took no effort at all.
Although I promised James I would take him to the bakery this morning, I couldn't so we went when he got home. The bakery was about a mile away, so we a walked. I talked to him about what we do there. "Ok, so when we get there, you and I will go through the back and into the kitchen where all the magic happens!" I say excitedly. His face lights up and I'm so happy he likes my hobby.
We arrive, so he did what I told him to do. We walked through the kitchen door and found Ronaldo, one of my favorite co-workers, there. Once I introduced them to each other, I took James to the work station. I taught him how to bake the basic pastries, like bread, etc. James' face was wearing a smile the whole time, and I was happy for him that he admitted it. "Ok, so now we add the flour..." and before I can say another word, he mumbles: "Thanks dad."
"Your welcome buddy, I hoped you liked it!" I say with a grin. I kiss him on his forehead and pack up our stuff. I glance at the clock to see that we have been here a couple hours. It felt more like a couple minutes! James and I decide to take home two loads of bread and a cake for Katniss and Daisy. We say good bye to Ronaldo, and exit the kitchen. We walk out the door, me looking proud of my son. My son look happy as hell. It's all a great experience! I was still wondering how they got everything ready for school. But as long as they are alive, I'm fine!
