Monday Afternoon

Is currently Monday afternoon, Minjeong's shift for the student/school program. From the time she start till now, there were only students who claimed to be sick but who can blame them? Minjeong would do it too but now she can't.

The door opens with a tall guy with headphones around his neck

"Hmm an art student," She mumbled 

"Are you actually sick or do you just want an excuse to not go to lectures?" She asked

"No is actually break and I have 30 minutes and gosh why do we only have 2 sickbays," He breathes in and out

"I don't know man our school is on a budget," She said

"Anyways what do you want to ask?"

"Are you an actual nurse?" He asked

"No, I'm a student here"

"But you are trained to know about soulmates and stuff right?"

"That's two questions but yes I learned about soulmates," She said

"Ok, so a pair can only have 1 soulmate connection, right? Not more than 1."

"Well that's because we never had anyone have more than 1 connection, but if they do then the whole world would do a bunch of research on them, whoever they'll be I feel bad for them, why?" 👀

"I just wanted to know that's all," He said

"Then what about same-gender type of soulmates?" He asks

"Is the same, no one can choose if we can have a male or female soulmate. Some soulmates can be same-sex or of a different gender or some might feel like they are meant to be together while some might think they have a platonic relationship," Minjeong explained

"Wow, that's cool.'

"I know right? one of the many reasons why I chose to study nursing."

"Well I have to go now, left with 5 more minutes before my break ends," He walks out of the room

"Should've asked for his name."

At the Dorm

"Hey you guys," Minjeong called

"Yeah?" They both answered 

"I met this dude and he talked about soulmates and have you two ever wanted more than one connection?"

"No, I would rather change my connection, I always felt pain but my fellow soulmate is slowly stopping themselves from cutting," Nayoung said

"having one connection is cool but imagine how cool it is to see your soulmate's tattoo but also seeing one of your iris coloured as the one as his iris?" Minjeong said

"Now that you're talking about it I feel bad for those soulmates who have heterochromia and they both have the same coloured iris so having a heterochromia connection has no difference," Minjeong said

"I have never been as confused as I was today," Miyeon said

"Minjeong-ah No one in the whole world has more than one soulmate connection, maybe someone will have it but we don't," Nayoung said

"You two don't but what about me? My birthday hasn't passed yet," Minjeong mumbled

The Next Day, Tuesday 

*Knock* *Knock*

"Come in!" Miyeon said to whoever was on the other side of the door

A group of friends came in carrying someone who looks as pale as a vampire.

"What happened here?" Miyeon brings them into the room

"Our friend has been working out recently, he said that he wanted his heart to beat every time? But our heart always beats and if you don't help him I don't think his heart WILL BEAT!!" San shakes Miyeon

"Ok ok sir chill, let me see what I can do," Miyeon said

"What's his name and how old is he?" Miyeon uses a stethoscope to hear his heartbeat. "Song Mingi, 18," Seonghwa said

"Song Mingi? That's the name of my soulmate," She thoughts

She furrows her brows "His heartbeat is quite irregular, how long has he been working out?" Concern in her voice

"He started after his birthday, 9 August," Yeosang said

"The doctors said that he and his soulmate have a connection by their hearts beating in each other's names in morse code," Seonghwa explains

"When was the last time did Mingi work out?" She asked

"Like 10 minutes ago, we all decided to go to the gym today," Hongjoong said

"We have a gym in school!?" Miyeon's eyes widen

They all nodded

"I guess I don't really know much about my school."

Miyeon nods "Ok I understand, he is just very tired from working out if he ever wants to work out just make sure that he has slept the right amount of hours and drink a lot of water, you all may leave, tell your lecturer that Mingi is excused from lessons."

The guys helped Miyeon to get Mingi to lie down on the bed properly and left once they were done.

"If he started working out after his birthday that means his birthday is on the 8th and that's was the day I fainted, his friends also said that his connection is a heart beating in Morse code of the name of his soulmate which is what I have!" She said to herself

"All I just need is to have him say-" "Where am I?" A groggy voice 

"AHHHH", "AHHHHH WHY ARE WE SHOUTING."

"AHHHHHH".
