I led them outside to where Sharon, Natasha and Tony were already waiting. I heard her groan as I turned to her, "you're related to Stark?"

She nodded, "I'm sorry Steve. He told me not to tell you. And I didn't want to either. I wanted you to like me because of me."

I shook my head, "you lied to me." I looked around at my friends, "and you all knew?!"

Bucky hesitated, "I found out after she arrived. Natasha told me."

Natasha hit him in the chest, making him grunt, "big mouth."

He shrugged, "he knows. No reason to lie now."

She grabbed Steve's hand, "I'm sorry Steve."

I shook my head as I pulled away my hand, too angry to look at her, "I really liked you. But you were just a plant the whole time."

Tony shrugged, "who cares. You said it, you like her. That was the whole point Rogers."

I was about to say something but looked to see Maria Hill come outside.

"Mission guys."

I watched everyone follow her inside before turning back to my green eyes, "just go home. Take Kelly and go home. I have to go to work."

She nodded, "it was all real for me Steve. I wasn't trying to trick you. I just didn't tell you I was related to Tony. I'm sorry."

I nodded, "I know. But I can't talk to you right now. Please. Just go home." I watched her walk away from me before grabbing her arm, pulling her back to me. I heard her moan as I kissed her forcefully, my tongue finding hers quickly. I pulled away after a minute, us both out of breath as I rested my forehead on hers, "just go home. I'll be back when I can."

She nodded, "be careful Captain."

I sat on the back patio the next morning, alone since Steve was still on mission. I had no idea if he was still mad at me or not, or what was going to happen when he returned. I had hoped his kiss meant he forgave me, but I wasn't so sure. I sighed, going inside to make breakfast for the other girls. I heard them trickling in just as I was finishing.

"Is this supposed to be some sort of peace offering?"

I looked at Kelly, "what do you mean?"

Hailey half smiled, "we know you're related to Stark."

I groaned. "I'm sorry. No one was supposed to know. Not even Steve. So no one had an advantage."

Kelly scoffed, "you kind of do though, don't you?"

I shrugged, "how so? Tony can't force him to be with me. And besides, trust me, Steve is just as mad about finding it out as you guys are. So I'm not even sure I'll be allowed to stay."

Hailey placed her hand on her back, "I hope you do."

I nodded, smiling at her, "thanks. Me too."

We had barely finished lunch when we heard someone enter the house. We all looked, hoping to see Steve, but found Tony instead. "What are you doing here?"

He half smiled, "sorry girls. Steve wants you all to go home."

"What?!" Kelly motioned to me, "because of her?"

"Not just." He shook his head, "but I'm not really sure. I'm sorry."

I pulled him off to the side while the other girls huffed upstairs, "really? He wants us all to go home? Because of me?"

Tony sighed, "I'm sorry kid. I'll fix it. I promise. It's my fault, not yours."

I shook my head, "why not just send me home then?"

He hesitated, "because without you he didn't see the point."

I couldn't control the tears I felt beginning to sting my eyes, "where is he Tony?"

"He's at the compound. He was injured and refuses to come back here until everyone is gone."

"Injured how?"

He shook his head, "he's fine. Super soldier, remember?"

I nodded, "okay. Just making sure. But he really won't come back here?"

Tony placed his hands on her shoulders, "I'm sorry. I told you, I'll fix it." He pulled her into a hug as he sighed.

I groaned, pulling away to go to Steve's room. I grabbed the picture I drew for him and handed it to Tony. "Can you give this to him, please?"

He nodded, "of course. Come on. I'll take you home."

I heard a knock on my door as it opened before I could answer. I saw Tony let himself in, setting a paper on my desk.

"She told me to give this to you and to tell you she's sorry."

I nodded, "thanks." I didn't make eye contact as I continued to read my book.

Tony sighed, "don't you think you're being a bit ridiculous. You really like her, she really likes you. What's the problem?"

I closed the book, setting it on my side table, "the problem is I was manipulated into liking her. The problem is, neither of you told me who she really was. Natasha and Buck even knew and didn't tell me. Why?"

Tony shook his head, "I don't know. It was my decision. I'm sorry Steve. I didn't want to give you any preconceived notions or not give her a chance because I'm related to her. It's me you should be mad at. Not her. She wanted to tell you."

I nodded, picking my book back up. "Thanks. You can go now."

Tony hesitated but left him alone in his room.

After Tony left I put my book back down, going to my desk to pick up the picture green eyes made for me. It was a picture of the back of us snuggled on the couch on the back patio, looking out at the sunrise. I smiled, finding a pin to pin it on the wall above my desk.
