Mysterious Power

Chapter 1

*I got this story from my dream...lol, I hope you all enjoy it. It's my first book that I'm writing:)*

I wake up one Saturday morning, glad that there's no school today. I don't want to see those horrid deadly faces of those boys...I have no idea who they are. There are 5 of them. All, wear black everyday, pale...and i don't know, I don't look at them because they all stare at me everyday all the time.

Here's the truth about me...

I don't know who and where my parents are. I don't know if they even breathe or not. My name is Shanaya Russo, adopted by a young lady who saw me when I was only 2 minutes old. If it was someone else than her, he or she would've just left me there half dead. She would always tell me about these weird stories of people with power that could do anything. I mean ANYTHING as in they can fly, run faster than a cheetah, like a vampire. Except vampires want blood, but these people are the nice ones. She told me my dad....was one of the nice ones.

The nice ones protect people like us and take care of them. If people are in danger or ever given the bad one's power, they give you the "mysterious power". I don't believe in any of this crap and neither do I ever want to.

Today, I'm gonna sleep and not wonder about school and those horrifying faces.

Homework...ugh!! I have to finish my homework for Mr. Smith. He is the coolest teacher in our school. He teaches english to the junoirs like me. He also tells me about those stories Tati would tell me. They were a little different, but about the same topic...The Mysterious Power.
