Mysterious Power

Chapter 3

During classes, he'd ask me about my family. I told him everything about me and those mysterious stories Mr. Smith and Tati would tell me. He was very curious about my life. He listened carefully to everything. Then I had to stop talking to him because the teacher came in the room with our lab equipments. Me and Kevin were lab partners since we sat next to each other. He knew everything I knew.

Finally the long day ended. Liz, Kevin, and all of our friends and me were hanging out outside. Kevin was walking home so we offered him to give him a ride. He'd said he had to go somewhere quickly. Even though my car would reach the place he had to go to early than him walking.

Days passed. We talked.

One day, after school, it was only me and him waiting for Liz outside. I was going across the street to get my car. Just then, I see those faces again. Those horrifying faces. All 5 of them coming to me. Looking straight at me. All of a sudden, Kevin comes running like a vampire. He jumps over my car and fights them, like they'd do in action movies.

All of them....dead on the street. I was crying. I said "Kevin....you....killed them"

Kevin "they're not dead, but to be honest, they're not human. That's all I can say right now."

What Kevin just said was still echoing. They're not human! What are they? Who is Kevin?
