Chapter 13
“You like my son don't you?” That was a question from Jerinn's mom. I also noticed they are quite good at english but sometimes they don't also they also have a accent. But I can understand their english though.
“I do.” I nodded making them all grinned. I don't know why though.
Then suddenly Leny took his phone out making me puzzled me more. Then he hits the play button making then grin more.
I listen attentively to the audio.
“Jerinn... I still love you.” But it has familiarity in it, I've heard that voice somewhere.
“Sorry, I don't. Please don't come to see me again. I love my wife enough. Stop being pushy and suck it up Callie. We're done, move on.” I tried to stop my victory smile hearing Jerinn's voice, also mentioning Callie's name making my blood boil but not enough to kill my happiness at the moment.
He called me wife! I'm happy!
“Boto kami sayo Klareen!” Joshua said making me blink several times. I didn't understand anything he said, but he gestured a thumbs up. Iyon lang ang naintindihan ko.
Jeanna hit Joshua head like Joshua is the most stupid she ever met. Joshua sharply look at Jeanna but didn't say anything.
“Bobo ka talaga, Kita mong taga ibang bansa, iba ang labi tinagalog mo! Tonta, idiota, stupido.” Heard Joshua growled and give Jeanne peace sign. I think Jeanne is the most heat head most of Jerinn's cousins.
“You speak Spanish?” I can't help asked. Umiling naman si Jeanne, “no I don't but some of our words are borrowed. The history of the Philippines was we were colonized by spanish people.”
Oh.
“Aside from that, Joshua said that 'you have our vote'.” Huh? Vote what? I was completely unaware what's re they talking about.
“It means we like you for Jerinn.” I really appreciate it. To have a pleasant feeling like home. Personally I didn't experienced it, dad is strict, we rarely see each other because of palace work. I understand but some parts are not.
Being is Ironov is like being a cold person for me. Title became nothing at this moment looking at the faces of Jerinn's family. I'm glad I runaway indeed.
“Thank you.”
I wasn't pressured about my responsibility and obligation as a heir nor a princess. But having Callie around Jerinn is much pressure that I ever experienced.
I need Jerinn to fall hard for me! That's my only option.
Succeeding is my favorite talent. And I'm gonna conquer Callie many ways to one.
The first thing that pops to my mind is food. There's a saying that you can get your men through it's stomach! I wonder if that's saying is just a saying or a non fiction truth.
“What's Jerinn's favorite food or dish rather?” I asked at them making them think. Then suddenly Jerinn's mom snapped her finger like she got it!
“Paksiw!” Jerinn's mom exclaimed making them sunk in realization.
“Paksiw na Manok!” All of them exclaimed. They nodded in unison like they just found Jerinn's favorite dish.
