They ran to the direction where the scream came from, hurriedly but carefully they opened the door. So much to their surprise the room was lit but with the blood that almost paints the white wall, the place looks like a butcher's shop.

Guts, vomit, and chunk of blood surrounds the scientists and doctors that are working by the table where conscious kids were strapped. Their eyes brimming with tears and choked by their own screams and saliva. The sight was so unpleasant that the two kids could feel their stomach churn and turn.

The doctor's were to preoccupied with the bodies that they didn't even notice the door open and them entering the room. The whole scene is like something you could see in a horror movie, the room is not a lab, its a morgue, a torture room or perhaps a dungeon for criminals to rot and die, it was too graphic yet they cannot deny the sense of reality from it, because this is what really the world is about, the weak and poor gets trampled and the strong and powerful reigns.

Oliver unconsciously held his breath, he started to shake too, Yu immediately noticed Oliver's fear, understandably they are both scared yet Yu know that fear is useless for such situation and its her who led them there believing that its safe here, no doubt that she made a mistake and its her responsibility to take. So she's not allowed to be scared, she have to mend things, rescue everyone.

She rest her hand on Oliver's shoulder, when he felt her hands he could feel the sweat her hand is emiting and the way it shakes, Oliver relaxed to the encouraging yet afraid look on Yu's face.

"Let's get out of here... Seems like the three kids is not among them, we should tell the others too so we can make a run for it" Yu whispered before gulping feeling her throat turning dry from fear.

Oliver nodded but before they could even turn around they heard a shout.

"Let me go! Who are you?" the familiar silky voice squeak, a trolly was being rolled inside the lab opposite the door they just entered, It was Elise, Oliver's younger brother.

Without looking, Yu already know what Oliver's face looks like, unknowingly she knows what he's feeling with the sudden surge on air, an aura maybe. She's not sure as she's not rlly familiar with how this world and her body works.

"Oliv---" before she could even finish her sentence he already sprang to his feet and sprinted, his whole body shrouded in hue of blue. With his sudden attack for a second Yu faintly saw the man he'll come to be, the potential his whole being holds with this simple action and she know that this is not a mere illusion of hers as its the same when she lived her former life when she saw people of power before they come to be, this is no special power of hers this is an instinct ingrained in her soul, she just knew it.

And she knew that if he take the matter in his own hands this potential of his will not see the light, be praised by many, she have to stop him.

Not caring anymore she spread her wings and run towards Oliver, swatting anyone who comes near them, "You should've warned me!" she whispered catching up on him.

He slightly nodded still distracted with his own emotions, the whole lab is in chaos, and you could here the shrieks and murmurs of the people with white coats, nevertheless the sudden cry for help of the children were the loudest and Yu finally felt that this is her new reality and here she finally have something, someone to protect.
