Chapter 3 - let the plot continue or change it's course?

I'd just like to remind readers that I don't have much time to write stories but I will say that summer for me is nearing so I can write and post more often btw making a new book that will be shown in an update chapter.

Y/n's POV

I have my normal stroll around the village and look around. children playing, adults chating, a demon slayer coming through- wait. a demon slayer? I looks over and low and behold a demon slayer with pink and green hair with a  uniform reveling her chest. Immediately I float to her and push her into a small restaurant and closed the door.

She looks around confused on how she got there. I reveal myself to her and she looks shocked. "hey your that ghost girl who was at the trial" Mitsuri says still slightly shocked. I wrote down "Yep that's me! how's the corps?" "Oh we're doing okay! Kyojuro is on a mission right now otherwise he would be with me!" Mitsuri explained.

'the Mugan Train Arc already started!?' I thought shocked. I grabbed Mitsuri and teleported to my private chambers and start collecting stuff off some of the shelves. "hey Y/n why are you panicking?" Mitsuri asked worried. "I need to pack some stuff and inform the village about afew things then leave since I was suppose to be there!" I said putting the last few things in my pocket dimension.

"You can go ahead and explore the village I need to rush over to the shrine maidens about my absence for the time being" I said before teleporting the both of us outside. Mitsuri left and I rush to the shrine and gave the letter to them and teleport off.

Y/n's POV

I Float around near the train station trying to find Rengoku. 'Goddammit Rengoku why are you so hard to find!?' After an hour of floating around I saw the Kamaboko Squad on the train platform and I immediately went into the train until I saw Rengoku. "UMAI!" Rengoku shouted loudly. I sat down on the chair across from him and waited until it was the right time to appear.

3rd's POV

"I see you've mastered Total Concentration, Constant. Impressive!" Rengoku said.          "Rengoku-san..." "After all, Constant is the first step toward becoming a Hashira" Rengoku explained. "Although, there might be 10,000 steps before you can become a Hashira." Rengoku added.

"I'll do my best."

"You're bleeding from the abdomen. You have to concentrate harder and improve the precision of your breathing. Make your nerves reach every corner of your body" Rengoku Explained Further.

Still 3rd's POV

Tanjiro smiles at Rengoku and thanks him. immediately the two demon slayers heard a loud thunderest boom afew meters away from them. The demon slayers look over to see a pair of yellow glowing eyes staring at them. Rengoku puts his hand on his sword alerted at the sight. Tanjiro looks at the demon's eyes and realizes that the demon was Uppermoon 3 and starts questioning why was he there in is mind.

Uppermoon 3 immediately went to punch Tanjiro but Rengoku slashes the demon's fist causing the demon to move away from the two, immediately healing his slashed hand.
"That's a fine sword." Uppermoon 3 said and licked his  healed arm. "I can't understand why you'd go after a wounded person first" Rengoku said. Tanjiro tries to get up while the two were talking.

"he could get in the way of the chitchat... of you and me." 

"What would you and I have to talk about? I'm meeting you for the first time, and I already dislike you."

"Is that right? Well, I loathe weak humans, too. The sight of a weakling makes my skin crawl."

Y/n's POV

I silently watch as Akaza and Rengoku talk and fight while trying to decide if Rengoku should live or die. 'if I let Rengoku die then the story will progress easily and everything will go smoothly and there won't be consequences, but on the other hand if Rengoku lives Tanjiro and the others might have an easier time training' I tried to weigh the pros and cons.

I look back at the fight and notice it's almost time for Rengoku's death scene. Panicked I start trying to decide. on if Rengoku should die or not. And I made the decision.

sorry for the short chapter I was rushing to finish this one because writers block got me while making this chapter for the past few months I'm sorry you had to wait for a short chapter will so many Timeskips.

either way.

what do you think of the end of this chapter? I decided to not go with how most fanfic authors write kny reincarnation fanfics when Y/n is aware of what is going to happen.
