The Best Year

My senior year did NOT go as planned. Let me explain, my name is Percy Jackson, but you already know that.

"No, I didn't realize I was reading about me..." Percy said.

Annabeth rolled her eyes, not bothering to say anything.

This isn't really my story anyway, it's a story about all my friends and I. It's a story about the best year of my life.

"So... when exactly did this happen?" Percy asked, "As far as I know, the best year of my life was when I  was just born..." Percy said, "I was cuter and nobody knew I was a demidod..."

It started a little something like...

"ANNABETH! ANNABETH!"

"So, I just randomly yell her name now?" Percy asked.

"NO SEAWEED BRAIN FINISISH READING!" Annabeth yelled.

"WHAT?!?"

"Have you seen my toothbr- Oh, never mind."

"Wow Perce, you ask Annabeth for your TOOTHBRUSH!" Jason laughed.

I was just about done packing for my- our trip. I just needed one more thing.

"A life?" LEo asked.

"Yeah Percy from the future... I think... What happened to your life?" Percy asked suspisiously.

"It died!" said Jason behind him.

"Wait... I hear myslef!" Percy screamed in horror.

"It's just Jason Seaweed Brain!"

"Annabeth have you seen my ticket?" I asked my girlfriend who was helping my friend, Piper, zip up my third suitcase.

"I got it right here Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said letting go of the suitcase to hand me my suitcase causing Piper, who had been sitting on my suitcase while Bird-Poop-Brain zipped it up, to fall off my suitcase (which had been sitting on my brother, Tyson's, bed) on to the floor.

Leo laughed... hard.

"Umph," Piper said as she hit the the ground.

"Hmm" I sighed looking at all my luggage, "I think I under packed."

"The EXACT OPPOSITE actually!" Piper said slapping Leo to get him to stop laughing.

"About time! Having trouble packing your makeup kit Jackson?" My other friend (yeah I know, I'm so popular) Jason said, grinning as Annabeth, Piper, and I climbed up the hill.

"Wait... I wear MAKEUP?!" Percy excaimed.

"I woldn't be surprized if you do..." Jason said.

"So, you say that I look like I have makeup on?" 

"Yeah."

"Which makes me hot?"

"Yea-NO!"

"Don't act all cool, Grace, I saw you running up here thirty seconds before I left my cabin. Have trouble packing your tampons Jace?" I replied as the girls and Nico rolled their eyes behind us.

"Really?" Leo asked, "What happened to Persassy?"

"It died," Jason said.

"Yeah, Yeah. Come on the others are going to meet us at the airport"

Then we raced down the hill to what would either be the best or worst year of our lives.

"I'm guessing best year, but it's just a hunch..." Annabeth said.
