As i walk threw the dark hall ways of Mr.Rodríguez's warehouse, i get a bit of chills. So much is writen on the walls so many memories of sadness. So your probably questioning what im doing here but it will be explained very soon. I hear a bunch of laughter and talking coming from the farthest room.
"Éso es divertido!" ("Thats funny!") I hear Mr.Rodríguez basicaly sing. As i walk into the room all the men stand. "Estimado dónde has estado?" ("Dear where have you been?") Mr.Rodríguez questions i look at him the honest man and say "He estado alrededor." He laughs and brings me into a big hug. All the men sit ag me taking a chair. "Ahora, manos a la obra." ("Now, down to business.") I look around the room of familiar faces I've seen since i was a babe. I see one face that is all to familiar. Vino. He looks at me straight in the eyes, i didn't know he was part of the family. We never voted on a new member unless someone has a son I don't know about, but there was never a ceremony. I take my whole attention on Mr.Rodríguez i make head movement towards Vino and he seems to understand. "We will have a new member of our familia very soon, if he pass threw the ceremony." Mr.Rodríguez says in a very thick spanish acent. He places a hand on Ritos shoulder and says "your familia is our familia." I guess Rito had a son i don't know about.
After the meeting Mr.Rodríguez takes me to the gym area where i saw so many fights. "Estás listo." ("Are you ready") he looks at me with kind eyes the same as my fathers, i nod "sí." (For those who do not even know the basics of the Spanish language "sí" means yes.) A man I've never seen before comes out of the door "lo que el chico infierno!" He screams at a boy that doesn't even look like his balls have droped yet. "¿Qué demonios estás gritando a lo hes sólo" i basicaly sad why are you yelling at him hes a boy. I run up to him and punch the mans face. "Perra loca." He says to me ("crazy bitch") i look at him and jesture towards the ring "¿Quieres luchar" ("want to fight?) He looks at me with a shine in his eyes "sí chica" he says ("yes girl")
5 minutes later
"K paso" ("what happened") i look at him and say "I saw a problem i handled it." He looks at me "Is this how you want your father to see you... fighting every one."
If one has not noticed that Mr.Rodríguez is jess's uncle. She hates him for unknow reasons. You'll find out soon my lovely kittens.
