Everything i have ever had was gone in seconds. The happiest moment's i had were ruind with the tainted memory of my mother. "Hey you, are you awake kid" a gruff voice calls from the front of the cop car pulling me from my thoughts i looked at him which was a good enough answer for him. "What's your name kid" I look at him studying every detail of his face down to the eyelash thst is longer then the rest. Then i answer "My name is Jessica, Jessica Smith" with out any emotion he say "You don't seem nervous to be hand cuffed in the back of a police car" i smirk a little thinking how many time I've been in the back of one of these things. "It's not the first" i say in a monotone voice, trying to hide every bit of amusement in my voice. "Well you know where were going, right". "Yup" i say without a care. Soon after our conversation ended we arrived at the cop station. I went up the stairs following the cop infront of me. "Sit tight I'm going to look threw the system and find your parents phone number if i cant find it I'll be forced to keep you over night". I look at him and nod. Exactly one hour and twenty-three minutes later a very angry Abigail Smith walks in looking high as ever and decked out like a prostitute in all her glory. This women is the one who gave birth to me. Even tho I nothing like her she has the same green
eyes. In a hushed tone she says "What the fuck did you do this time" i role my eyes in response and raise my eyebrows, then point at my check. "You've been fighting again?" She doesn't look concerned, i say "the hoe i was fighting got a lot worse thats why the fuzz got called. The bitches friend fucked up the whole fight. After i made her nose bleed twice she got a concussion and passed out. Every one else ran". She looks at me and laughs "why the hell didn't you run" i look at her i really look and see all the scars and bruises that the make up doesn't hide. "I don't know".
