How could you belong to someone else?
While you can't leave my mind
Yours is wrapped around someone whose name isn't mine
Life is cruel, so is watching you
When my arms are empty at night
Yours enclose what you'll never want to lose
Talking about losing, I lost sight of reality
Since all I live in is my imagination
It became a safe place where you never hurt me
Somewhere I saw us as the ones we should be
But a place we never left
Only thoughts of mine that keep you close to me
Words you'll never hear because of her voice
She's always been the one for you
Now the one for me belongs to her
And I stay alone at night with tears about you
