Chapter 7

*Jessica's POV*
I'm sick of what Brooklyn has done to her. First, he kisses another girl and second, he doesn't even know what he has done. He's an idiot. What...a...doof. My phone beeps...crap I didn't turn off the ringer and its the last class of the day. Thankfully, no one heard it and I face palm myself.
Laura🙌: coach just texted saying no training tonight. his wife is going into labor tonight and he's gotta be there for her
Me👭: alright then. mind if I come over after school then?
Laura🙌: sure. see YA soon. and could you pick up Yan since U coming? it'll save Tash a trip.
Me👭: course I can. see YA soon
I turn my ringer off and put my phone away. After 10 very long minutes, the bell finally rings and I go pick up Yannis.
"Long time no see buddy." I smile at him.
"You too, Jessicer." He smiles back. He never gets my name right hah. Brooklyn approaches me.
"Please tell Laura to talk to me," he begs. I stare him in the eye and slap him.
"Don't you know what you did?" I ask. "It's because of you she's not attending school anymore. Jerk."

*Laura's POV*
Someone walks in the front door.
"I'm home!" Yannis shouts. He runs to me and hugs me.
"Missed ya bud," I say. I smile up at Jessica as she giggles and takes a pic. Today I had fun with the WAGS. They are all very sweet people and I felt so open to them.
"Where's my mommy?" Yannis asks. "I made her something in art today."
"She's not here right now. She's out shopping," I say. "She'll be home later." A knock comes on the door and I answer the door. Oh frick no! It's Jake...how did he find where I live?! Jessica joins my side and I see Brooklyn walking towards my house.
"Hey, sweet cheeks." Jake smiles. I slap him.
"You're such a jerk!" I shout at him. He backs me into the door and I stare at him as he smirks.
"Hey, come on now," he says. "I know you love me." I see Brooklyn in front of me.
"Sorry," I say. "I'm already taken." Jake, Jessica, and Brooklyn look at me. Why did I say that of all things?!
"What?!" they all three shout at the same time.
"I'm taken by Brooklyn," I say. Jake spins and looks at Brook. Why don't I just shut my mouth. Jessica just looks from me to Brooklyn.
"No you're not," Jessica says.

*Brooklyn's POV*
I was going over to Laura's house to fix everything when I saw a guy with her.

"I'm taken by Brooklyn," Laura says. What?! No she isn't. I mean I still love her, but I think her love for me is gone. Jessica just glares at me.
"No you're not," Jessica says. I glance at Laura and see her upset.
"Just kiss me Beckham and show Jake that we are together," Laura says. I take her face in my hands and kiss her. She kisses back and I hear Jake leave. We continue kissing even though he's gone and hear Jess fake puking.
"Clearly you guys are together again," she says. "But please! Get a room!" Laura pulls away and laughs and blushes. She's so cute.
"I'm so sorry, Laura." I smile at her. "Please forgive me. I never meant to."
"I forgive you," she says. Yes! I have her back! "And I kinda figured cause Macey is Macey after all." We both laugh and Jessica smiles.
"This is awful cute," she says. "But I'm gonna go home until late tonight. See you then, Laura." She leaves and Laura stares at me.
"Would you like to come in?" she giggles. I nod and she leads me inside.

*Laura's POV*
I'm happy we are back together! As I lead him inside, I see Eden. Oh crud! He gives Brooklyn a glare and I step in between them.
"Woah, Eden," I say. "Before you say anything or kill anyone, just know that Brooklyn saved my life today." Eden leans against the wall.
"Oh, and how did he do that?" Eden asks.
"Jake found me." I look at my feet. "I couldn't say I wasn't taken so Brooklyn stood up for me. Please don't hate him."
"Ok," Eden says. "I guess I won't hate him, but the minute you slip up again," he's pointing at Brooklyn, "I will do something." He walks off and I laugh at Brooklyn's face and Eden comes back just to see it. He's dying in laughter as well.
"What???" Brooklyn says.
"Just don't hurt her again." Eden smiles. "I like you Brook." Brooklyn looks at me.
"You wanna get some dinner with me?" he asks.
"Sure," I say. "Where at?
"Don't know," he says. "Maybe Olive Garden?" I nod and go to Eden.
"I'm going out," I say. "Be back later." I stay in my clothes and Brooklyn says he wants to go change so we go to his house. While he's gone, I explain everything to David and he finds it awful cute.
"You guys need me to drive you?" David asks as Brook comes down the stairs.
"Nope," he answers. "We're gonna walk." Brooklyn is wearing black skinny jeans, a plain white tee, and a black leather jacket. I had a plan for after dinner, since I didn't have a jacket. See where I'm going with it? He grabs my hand and we walk to the restaurant.

We end up going to Olive Garden. It's a 30 minute wait, but we make the most of it by chatting about our birthdays. Turns out, we've got the same birthday: October 16 (I know it's not true for Brooklyn or me but it's for the story). When they finally call us, we are both starving. Brooklyn orders chicken with a side of pasta and chips, and I get my fave: pasta that's got shrimp on it.
"You know," Brooklyn says. "I heard you have a modeling gig with my mum tomorrow." I blush.
"Yeah I do," I say. "It's a laid back one."
"So I get to see the real you," he says, sitting back. I nearly spit out my water.
"You're gonna be there?" I ask. He smiles.
"Yeah me and my whole family," he says. The rest of the date was amazing and we were finally on our way home by 7:45. It was a half hour away so we had a bit of time. It actually has gotten colder, and I rub my arms. Here goes my plan. Brooklyn notices and puts his arm around my shoulder.
"You cold?" he asks.
"Just a bit." I grin. He takes off his jacket.
"I was a bit hot anyway," he says putting it on me. My phone beeps.
Jessica👫: Osc is being a dweeb and said that he wants to go see a movie with me, Ludy, and Julia. see ya tomorrow
Me🙌: okkkkk see ya then
We get back to the houses awful soon and I stare at Brooklyn. He's adorable.
"Wanna watch a movie in the theater?" he asks.
"Sure," I say. He leads me inside and into his room first. "By the way, do you have any sweats I could borrow?" He throws me a pair of gray ones that have "Beckham" written up the side. Brooklyn decides to put a horror movie on...I hate those! I text Eden.
Me🙌: can I stay at Brooklyn's????
Eden👏: I guess, just don't do anything YA know😏
Me🙌: shut up
I snuggle up next to Brooklyn as he puts in the movie. The last thing I remember before falling asleep, is that I'm at Brooklyn's...I love him.
