Part 1: Welcome to the playground

~ starting at the mission ~

October's POV

Vi jumped up onto the roof as I was helping Powder up the ladder. " Powder, you got to come see this". As we jumped up to the top with Mylo and Claggor following, Powders eyes went wide as I breathed out a "Woah" Vi looked over at me with a smirk on her face as she walked closer " Woah is right Sunshine" I just rolled my eyes as a big blimp passed by. Mylo and Claggor finally making it over to the spot we were in. I looked down at Powder as she was holding my hand. " whatcha thinking about Pow Pow?" She looked back from the blimp to me as she said " one day I'm going to ride in one of those things." A big smile crossing her features "And one day I'm going to shoot one of those things down" Mylo said as he moved in between me and Vi making a finger gun at the plane.I just rolled my eyes as we started walking again across the roofs. Claggor seemed a little concerned as we jumped onto the roof. "V-Vi are you sure about this, I mean if we get caught-" "We are not going to get caught" she cut him off. " we'll be in and out before anyone notices" as we approached a ledge she looked at it while saying " alright everybody follow me- and just don't look down" and with that she jumped down and within a couple seconds was already on the other roof. Mylo pushed Claggor back and jumped down himself swinging to the other side, then Claggor, while grabbing a cupcake and swallowing it down before anyone noticed, I noticed of course, and rolled my eyes at him. I thought Powder was going to go but when I looked down at her I realized she was looking straight down. I could hear Mylo huffing from the other side about before Vi yelled up " Powder look at me" her eyes trailed from the trenches below to her sister's eyes " what did I tell you" "that.." she clenched my hand before letting go "I'm ready" "that's right, so?" I said looking down at her. But her eyes never left her sisters. Then, she jumped, and with some screaming and jumping, she was on the other side.she almost fell too, which scared me but thankfully Vi caught her. Now it was my turn, I wasn't scared but I did want to show up Mylo. So I jumped grabbing the whole plate of cupcakes for Claggor. I then gracefully jumped one handed with the cupcake plate, to the other side. When I got over there I looked up to see Mylo rolling his eyes and Vi smiling at me before continuing on. When I turned around to Claggor I could practically see stars in his eyes as I realized he wasn't look at me, but yet the cupcake plate I was holding. I laughed a bit before holding it out for him to take them, but not without grabbing one for Powder. I knew that it was his favorite kind of cupcake."Thanks Gizmo" I just rolled my eyes at the nickname he had given me.Me and Claggor had always been pretty close, we meet back in the rubble of the fight that broke out years ago before we met Vander, who took us in after our parents were killed. Claggor was the person I told everything to, he knew all of my secrets and I knew all of his, for example, No matter how obvious it is, he's the only one who knows that I have a crush on Vi. As we crossed roofs again I handed the cupcake to Powder. She looked at me confused " For me?" She said pointing at herself. I nodded. " I'm not a big sweet person" I lied knowing that she would really like the cupcake " but what about-" Claggor tried to say but I jabbed him in the side. Powder looked confused but I smiled widely at her while passing the two to catch up with Vi. As we were getting closer we were in the edge of a roof sliding across. You could tell by the all the questions Claggor was asking that he was still very worried, ever after those cupcakes I gave him to calm him down. " What if Vandor finds out we're all the way up here?" He asked. I could tell Vi was getting a little agitated with all of his questions " Look around you, You think anyone from topside's going hungry? Besides this is exactly the kind of job Vander would have pulled at our age ." A see got to the edge of the building she looked back at us "I'm going. Are you with me or not?" "Always" I responded almost immediately " well I knew that Sunshine" she said with a slight smile. Claggor looked back at Powder and Mylo, but Mylo just raised his eyebrows and shrugged. Claggor sighed " Vander's gonna kill us" " yeah only if we screw up" Vi said while looking back at us. "So don't screw up". With that Vi jumped down from the top and started inspecting the area.
