Part 2: The Tip

October's POV

Vi jumped down to inspect the area "All clear" we heard, just then Mylo jumped down, then me, then Claggor, then I went to help Powder down. I heard Mylo grunt behind me while juggling the door handle. "Who locks their balcony" he then squatted down to start picking the lock. Vi walked over to me as I was hanging on the balcony. " how are you feeling Sunshine?" She asked me, I knew she was concerned because it was my first mission, and it was a big one. I had always wanted to come on their missions but she always made up some lame excuses as to why I should come. For example, "but you haven't finished your project sunshine." "But we need you to watch Powder Sunshine". I knew what she really thought. She only say me as a painter, not a fighter. But in some ways she was right , I wasn't really into violence, but the thing she didn't see was that I could still hold my own if needed." I'm good" I said smiling, I knew that she was going to be worrying about me and Powder the whole time. She was still smiling at me when Claggor interrupted " there's tons of enforcers down there" worry edged in his voice. Vi looked up and around before turning around and saying " means where in the right place." She looked down at Mylo as I walked over and said " You gonna get that door open anytime soon?" He was clearly annoyed with my statement and the fact that he even had to pick a balcony lock in the first place. " Working on it" saying as he took out his tool and adjusted it. " seeing as I'm the only one who knows how to pick locks, I'd suggest-" he was cut off by Vi's foot kicking the door open. As we all followed behind her, me smacking Mylo's head on the way by. "Animals" I heard him say as he got up to follow us inside. We had all stopped in the doorway to look at the gadget filled room. I was the first to move forward as I saw a pendulum watch sitting on the bookshelf. My dad use to own one,we use to live on the topside before the fight. So obviously that was the first thing I grabbed putting it in the bag Vi had set in the middle of the room.Mylo and claggor got into the room and Mylo started looking at the table but said " You know, Claggor, for once you're right." He chuckled a bit before continuing "we are definitely not suppose to be here"Vi was looking at a book when I came over and read the title from beyond her shoulder " Quantum physics". She looked over at me as I rolled my eyes and put it back all the while saying "boringgg" she laughed at my outburst and grabbed my hand before leading me over to the gaint chalkboard " Huh, he must be an inventor." I said while looking over the chalkboard. Then I pulled on her hand and we went over to where Mylo and Powder were talking. " Keep an eye out for anything that looks valuable Powder" Vi said as we approached the small blue haired girl. " preferably, before Mylo fills the bag with junk."I said Vi and Powder smiled at me as I heard Mylo grunt behind me. After we had filled up the bag almost all the way, me and Vi where sitting on the floor trying to sort through the junk Mylo had thrown in when I heard something. " Did you hear that?" I said while looking towards the door. Vi shot her head up and towards the door after hearing another sound. "Mylo!" Vi whispered while both of us stood up and motioned to the chair he was sitting in. He quickly got up and put the chair up to the door just as it started to move. I ran to go get Powder, knowing that she was in a room down the hall. " Powder we got to go" I whisper yelled down the hallway. I saw her grab something but decided to ignored it because of the adrenaline that had just started pumping through my veins. As we got back to the main area I grabbed Powders hand, so we could get out faster. As we turned around to get back on the roof an explosion went off shooting us backwards. Vi came shooting out of the building "is everyone alright" she asked looking straight at me and Powder. " yea"h I breathed out as I got up and stated to help Powder up. Then the ground started to shake and crumble down, almost taking some enforcers' heads off. Vi looked down through the rubble to see some enforcers looking back up at us " shit" she breathed out as we turned to start running. As we were running down the streets there were enforcers chasing us and throwing things at us. When we got to this staircase I wasn't paying more attention to the enforcers chasing us instead of my feet and faltered a bit as I almost tripped down the stairs. Vi notice if grabbed my hand and we started running even faster as Vi was yelling " Faster!" As the enforcers we're getting closer. We jumped a bridge as I could hear the horn blair off in the background. We turned a corner as Vi yelled " This way!" We all turned another corner as Vi hit a gas pipe and gas started coming out blurring our vision. I could hear the enforcers coughing as we turned another corner. We were use to the gas because of the thick air in the undercity. Then Vi pried open a sewer tunnel. As Mylo bent infront of it looking in I could hear him say " Oh, man, not again, I just got this shirt" before Vi kicks him in the back sending him flying down into the sewers below. Then everyone else went in until it was just me and Vi up top " after you M'lady" Vi said to me while bowing " nope you first, you have the cargo anyway" Vi got up and looked at me sternly "No." she said "But Vi-" " I'm not leaving you up here alone with all those enforcers looking for us." She was completely serious. I was going to rebuttal but the look on her face told me not to. I just jumped down while hearing her come in after me. As we landed I say that Powder was sitting by herself while Claggor had tackled Mylo. I laughed a bit before Vi fell right on top of me. She sat up a bit looking down at me " ha- sorry sunshine" she said getting off of me I was a bit flustered by the whole thing but just brushed it off. " I thought last time was the last time we were gonna do this." Mylo said complaining. "Well this times the last time" Vi said in a stern voice. I was going to tell him to stop complaining when Claggor spoke up " guys, what was that? What the hell happened back there?" All the teens turned to look at Powder who looked almost offended. " I don't know, I didn't do anything" " could fill a damn library with all the things you didn't do-" "shut it Mylo" I said while helping Powder stand up. "Guys, we just emptied a Pilltover penthouse right under the enforcers' noses. So, if your done beating yourself up, let's get this home." Vi said while slightly smiling. We opened a sewer drain and all slipped out. As we were walking back a blonde guy we had just passed speaks up.
