When I decided to come out, as a lesbian, the first people to know were Druig and my sister. They had completely different reactions. Both understanding and caring about the matter. Well, caring is a bit of a stretch, considering both of them don't really show they care over anything.

Well, maybe in different ways.

Sprite's reaction was simple. It happened like this,

I look to Sprite and say "You know how you're my only family right...?"

She nods and says "Yes."

I bite my lip anxious to tell her "I think I'm gay.."

She shrugs and says "Oh really? The whole drooling over Makkari and any attractive woman to exist totally didn't give it away."

I smile and say "Really?"

She laughs and says "It's the most obvious thing I've ever seen."

She smiles and says "So who have you told before me?"

I look to her and shake my head. "You told Makkari didn't you?" I shake my head and say "Shut up. I did not. You're the first to know."

She looks to me and says "You lyin?"

I nod and say "Yeah. I told Druig first."

She scoffs and says "I knew it."

"No! I was joking! Sprite I told you first you dork."

She looks to me surprised and says "I mean, you aren't the first person I would tell news so... thanks I guess."

I roll my eyes and say "Don't think differently of me now that you know though."

She looks to me and says "You're literally still my sister. Nothing's changed. Now it's just verified. You should ask out makkari."

I sigh and say "Shut it. I need to practice my asl before I do that."

"She can read lips Dais." Sprite says

I shrug and say "It's not exactly how I'd like our first romantic moment to be though. I want to make it easy for her to understand my question. I want to easily have a conversation with Makkari. No mistakes."
