Leaving the hospital the next day,Maxwell looked up at the bright morning sun,today is a great day indeed the killer has been caught and I have been discharged,he smiled as he got out of the hospital gate.
He flagged a cap down and headed straight to the station as he got in everyone he saw congratulated him on his recovery for his injury,He thanked them as headed for Fred's office on getting in,he met Fred resting in to his cushion looking at no where in particular,
"Sir"he called
"Wow welcome back"Fred said turning to him smiling,
"Thanks,but when is the interrogation starting."
"In an hour time"
"Okay thanks,but I would like to see the killer before then"
"Why not, follow me"
So they walked together to the cell of the killer, seeing the killer Maxwell shouted
"What Donald you are the one"
"Hahaha took you long enough" Donald said smiling
"But why"Maxwell asked banging on the cell door.
Fred seeing that Maxwell was getting physically violent dragged him out.
"Do you know him "Fred asked
"Yeah,don't you remember that family friend of mine that I met at the filling station"
"Owww yes I do now,but why"
"I don't know"
"But you do know that you can't follow me to the interrogation room you are too emotional,you would be able to watch from the monitor but you are not going in"
"I understand".
About an hour later the interrogation began.
Fred entered the Interrogation room to meet the already seated Donald.
"Am surprised you have not requested for your lawyer scince your arrest,well you still have the chance to call a lawyer before the interrogation"
"That would not be necessary,I can answer all my questions"
"Okay now you are here for the murder of Mrs Ruth, and many other people to cover up your crimes"
"Yes I know and I am admitting that I killed them,I am sure that Maxwell would be somewhere watching me and would be wondering why I killed them,so let me explain,before Ruth met his Dad I was in love with her,I had woowed her and she declined and friend zoned me,I was still looking for another opportunity when ,I heard that she had found someone else, like that's insane, I don't see any reason why she would prefer him to me so,I bribed her maid with Three hundred dollars,to poison her food with mercury,after which I met a Doctor to forge a cancer result and admitt administering the test,if the police should get suspicious,after all this I never expected the family to accept an autopsy for her ,scince they would believe it was cancer and the fact that an autopsy would lead to tearing her body,But one day the Doctor called and told me to meet him in another town, on getting thier,I saw you and Maxwell in a filling station, I approached and greated you guys that was when Maxwell told me that you guys have tracked the Doctor there.
I knew I had to kill the Doctor so when I go to his house I beat him and pushed into a river to drawn,since Maxwell said that you Guys tracked him with his phone,I took his phone switched the phone one in a rail way and accessed the internet on it and dropped the phone in the train that transported people from this city to the the city were the Doctor ran to and left, just to confuse you guys, because I was sure you people would track the phone.
I came back home and made sure that I always contacted Maxwell pretending to care, so as to know how to cover my tracks,
But that was when you Guys found his body,I thought you guys would end thier but you guys continued till you found about the maid, oww Mrs phebe she was in shock when I killed her, well I cant risk my self being exposed.
When Maxwell told me that his house would be guarded with police,I knew that would destroy my plan."
"How"
"Well my plan was to kill Mr Bill for taking the love of my life and Mrs Ruth for rejecting me, my plan was never to kill the Doctor or the maid they were just collateral damage to protect my self.
Well on getting to thier house I killed his Dad,as I was about to leave I heard some one coming in I knew that would be Maxwell so I hid in the kitchen as I heard him open the kitchen door I shot him,
Getting home I wondered why Maxwell came back earlier than he was supposed to,then it occurred to me that he might have been relieved from duty , due the maid I killed.
So the next day I came to his house so as to call the police on a homicide case in pretense that I just got their,well getting thier I saw some police men, making inquiries, I found out Maxwell was alive,so I came to the hospital and met him were he told me that the Gateman of the estate was going to describe so I came to the estate pointed my hand through the gate and shot him,he fell down then as I turned to leave,He stood up and ran to his room,seems like he was wearing a bullet proof vest, anyways I climed the gate and got in as I was about to shot, you guys arrived."
Fred looked at the murderer before him and only shaked his head as he left, He came to the control room were he saw Maxwell
"Take heart some people are very wicked"He told Maxwell
Sobbing with tears in his eyes Maxwell said
"My family and family friends has always been a very nice and kind people We never knew some one like this lived within us he was a wolf in a sheep clothing, the wolf in the flock, it dark but it's the truth,it's the dark truth"
Some months later Mr Donald was arrayed in court was found guilty and sentenced to death by firing squad.
