As Maxwell got home he could not understand, what was going on .
Pacing up and down
"How is it that thier is no record or even evidence that thier is no evidence that, Mrs ruth visited the hospital."He shouted at no one in particular.
As he thought to him self he slept off on the couch in his living room.
Waking up the next mornning he realised he was late for work, so he rushed had his bath and went to work.
Getting in to the station all Maxwell was still confused on his findings, the only thing on his mind was to find answers, so he rushed to freed's office,on getting thier he pushed the door open getting in to the office, He was met with the squized face and terrifying eyes of his boss.
"Maxwell are you insane, how dare you walk in to my office without knocking, and even had the audacity to brush it open like it is your bedroom" Freed said almost shouting
"Am sorry sir"
"Apologies accepted,but next time be careful with your manners"
"Yes sir,thank you sir"
"So what brings you to my office this morning "
"Sir remember I told you I was going to sue the hospital "
"Yes I do"
"Sir from my investigation my step mum Mrs Ruth never went to the Hospital"
Turning swiftly to Maxwell with wide eyes
"Then how did the doctor poison her,and were did the hospital result diagnosing her for cancer came from"
"Sir am also confused"
Just then lieutenant freed's phone rang, as he turned and checked the caller it was his friend from the other station as he picked the call, hearing what what his friend was telling him from the other side of the phone his jaw dropped with his eyes wide as the call ended, He turned to Maxwell and said slowly,
"They have found the doctor"
"Wow finally" Maxwell said smiling with his eyes filled with joy.
"They found him dead"
Turning swiftly in with his eyes almost probing out what do you mean.
"He was found in a lake this morning,from forensics it shows that he was forcefully drowned"
"By who"
"They don't know"
"Maxwell you said Mrs Ruth never visited the hospital,that means that the cancer result was falsified"
"That's true sir"
"That also mean that as it was not the doctor who killed her"
"That's true sir"Maxwell said With his eyes wide open,
"So he was just covering for the real killer" Freed said
"I think so" Maxwell replied
"So who could this killer be" Freed asked looking in to thin air,
"Sir I think we should ask the forensics team how the poison got into her system"
Going to the forensics base in the station,Maxwell and Freed walked hurriedly as they got to the forensics base,Maxwell looked around, spotting Felix, Maxwell and Freed walked to him, fred turned looking at them asked,
"What brings you here today" Felix asked
"Well we want to know how the poison got into, mrs Ruth body"said freed
"Well it was from the tea she drank"
Turning to Felix with scruinted eye brown, he asked.
"Is it green tea"
"Yeah"felix said looking at freed intently,
"That's the tea Mrs phebe our maid prepares for her every morning"
"Wait" Freed said turning
"Are you telling me that the maid prepared the tea that killed your step mum"
Looking into no where in particular, freed said
"I hope it's not what am thinking"
"Thier is only one way to find out" Fred said.
They both rushed out of the base running into lieutenant freed's car,driving on a guage of 70MPH.
On the way to the house Maxwell recieved a call from thier family friend Donald picking the call
"Hello" Maxwell said
"How you doing "Donald asked
"Great, guess what" Maxwell asked
"what"Donald asked
"We just found out that it was the maid that poisoned Mrs Ruth"Maxwell said hurriedly
"Why did she kill her"
"We don't know yet"
"Ok pls when you find out update me" said Donald said
"Ok no problem"
"I will come to the station"
"Ok no problem"
As Maxwell and Fred got to Maxwell house, Maxwell hurriedly opened the gate they both rushed into the compound,pushing the door open they found out it was not locked as they got in to the parlor,their opened thier eyes so wide and stood transfixed for a second only,as they looked at at Mrs phebe body with her head chopped of,as blood ozed from her neck.
