Mina and Momo climbed down from the sewer passage onto some boulders. They breathed in the fresh air of the real world, looking out to the land they were going to navigate through.
Mina pulled out the map, sharing the view with Momo. "Alright, so we are... right here. We have to travel passed this waterfall and arrive to this nook next to this riverside. There seems to be forests surrounding that whole area, although we should be fine."
Momo sighed heavily, receiving a worrisome look.
"Is it about Captain Yoo?" Mina asked, feeling a sense of sadness.
Momo nodded her head in response, hugging Mina. "I just... I just wish I would have stopped her. I should have known she would pull something like that."
The princess stroked Momo's hair, letting the girl rant and cry against her shoulder. "Her actions will not be in vain, Momo."
With birds flying overhead, they continued to embrace, taking a long look towards the mountains.
"Let's continue to our new life ahead," Momo confidently said, wiping her tears.
"To our new life ahead."

Within one day, the girls traveled nearly five miles away from the kingdom. In their line of sight, only trees could be seen, the mountains still in the far distance."Mina, do you know where we are?" Momo questioned, clutching her stomach. "I'm feeling really hungry."
"We're somewhat close to the waterfall, but we should be able to find something here," Mina said, checking the map. She looked around to forage any edible plants, but to no avail. The lands were at a higher altitude, which made it much colder than the kingdom. With even a thin layer of snow, there wasn't a plant to forage.
"It's okay, Mina. I should be able to hold out for one more day," Momo weakly smiled.
The princess placed a hand on Momo, giving a light smile. "Let's set up camp, then. I'm sure we could make use of the branches and kindle."
"I have made fires many times, you can leave it me," Momo said, giving a goofy salute.
Mina laughed in response, feeling reassured that they will have a warmer night.
The couple rummaged through the snow, picking up kindling and sticks. Branches were broken and snow was moved to create some ground.
"Alright, I'll need to use the sword to carve this branch into a spindle," Momo said, holding her hand out.
Mina gave Momo the sword, watching as the latter gave a good look at the sword before using it to carve.
"Maybe this isn't the best for the sword, but it's beneficial for us," Momo chuckled.
The two girls continued to work on the fire, putting the kindling under a chunk of wood they found laying in the forest. Momo used the sword to chip a small notch at the top, then made another notch on a smaller piece of wood.
"Here, Mina, I need you to cut a long piece of my tunic out. This'll be for... the thing that looks like a bow."
"I can cut a piece of my clothing off, Momo, it's long enough already!" Mina exclaimed, not wanting Momo to be colder.
Momo raised her eyebrows, but ultimately gave in, "oh, alright, princess. Are you sure you won't be cold?"
"Not at all, I just don't want you to be cold, Momo."
Momo smiled, a blush appearing on her face. "Thanks, Mina.."
Mina grinned at Momo, proceeding to rip a strip off her medical tunic. She handed it to Momo, watching her wrap it around a curved branch. With the block and spindle in place, Mina made sure to look for smoke as Momo used the bow structure.
