Her body felt like a feather. A soft, white feather that slowly glided down through the air. Then, a certain cold dampness rushed upon her backside, starting from head to toe. The silence after hearing a muffled sound ring in her ears felt as if it had dropped her in an abyss. An abyss with only darkness. An abyss with no thoughts. And still, she felt like nothing. Just her and the dark.

The sound of distant piano notes could be heard all around her. She got up, trying to listen for the main source. She followed the sound, listening, listening, listening. When the soft notes of the pianoforte sounded louder and louder, she walked faster. As it became even louder, she ran. Ran with all her might. A bright light, showing her the way out. She stopped just before it, feeling her legs shake. She reached out to the light, the spirits lifting inside of her.

Somehow, after going through the light, she felt new. A new person inside of her awoken. She was released from the abyss into a brighter world.

Mina...

She stopped in her tracks.

Please, Mina... wake up.

She questioned the voice.

The world crumbled and back into the darkness, she fell.

Mina flinched awake, seeing a crowd of people surrounding her. She saw that they suddenly cheered, some even crying. She didn't know why.

"What happened...?" Mina asked, feeling a sense of panic.

"Your highness, you fell off the wall's ledge," her servant answered.

"I fell off? How could I be that clumsy," she touched her head, only to feel bandages. "Bandages?"

"Your injury was pretty bad," Kai said, resting a hand upon her leg. "The doctor says that you suffered a minor concussion. How are you feeling?"

"I'm... doing fine. I'm a little tired but that's it. How long has it been?" Mina continued to question. She needed answers.

"It's been about two days," the doctor responded, walking passed the guards and servants.

For a doctor, the guards and servants felt uneasy with her aura, but ultimately fought through their creeping fear of her.

"You were knocked out cold from the impact, your highness. Although it has been a couple of days, you may experience some troublesome symptoms," the doctor continued.

A couple days? She figured it wouldn't have been that long.

"So... how was I found?" Mina asked, remembering that Momo had been with her. She was hoping that Momo couldn't have given herself away.

"Some peasant alerted us about your fall, your highness," a guard notified her.

"A peasant? What do you mean?" Mina questioned with a threatening tone.

"Well... I, um, I mean a civilian," he coughed. "She said that it was her doing so she has been arrested and put into the prison."

Mina couldn't remember anything from the fall. But, all she knew is that she wanted to see Momo.

"Let me see her," Mina demanded. "I need to know what happened in full description."

The guard nodded, bringing along two others.

Yet, Mina suddenly thought that it wasn't a good idea to request for Momo. Not only will Momo be questioned, she would be put in a bad situation. Dangerous, even.

As they left, servants started to leave one by one, praying and wishing for Mina's well-being.

"How does your head feel, princess?" Her servant asked.
