I woke up to a searing pain in my leg.
"Arhg!..what I'm hyrul..." I groaned in pain as my weary blue eyes fluttered open to my reality. My eyes wonders all over where I was...where was I? I was just under a tree. I sat up but then the pain in my leg inflamed again making me moan louder in pain as I laid down.
"Hello?" I said trying to make someone hear me if I was abandoned.
"Your awake. Good." Said someone from behind me. I forced my head to look behind me and I saw this girl... She had long brown straight yet curly hair, golden blue eyes, light skin, and...tattoos. Like she was only in a loos fitting shirt and some cloth pants but she looked...woah.. Wait what am I saying!
I shook out the though.
She stared at me like I was crazy.
"What? " I asked
" Did I stab you that hard? I mean really you were staring at me like you saw Jesus. Are you ok? " She said wiping off her knife.
"No..." Dang it she saw me. Thanks a lot zelda...
"Wait why am I here? You got me and you had your chance to let me die...yet you helped me? Why?"
she sighed and looked me, " I'm not normal...I'm a freak. I'm a thief...now an outlaw. The royals killed the only person I have and will ever love...my dad.i left the kingdom immediately then you came. You shit an arrow at me and we fought, no big deal..." She stopped.
But then...you were about to win, and you took off my cloak. You saw that I was a girl. Then I took your confusion to stab you and I took control. " she said
"Ok...but that still doesn't answer my question...why did you save me? " I said confused.
"Uhm.... Because when I knelt down next to you , you apologized ....you said you were sorry...and when you passed out, I walked away but I felt drawn to help you. I know. Pathetic but I guess my heart knows something that I don't yet because it's always right.. So you must be important. " She said And I swore that I saw a smile tilt on her lips...but it quickly was replaced with a stern expression.
"But your men still took away my happiness. So that doesn't make up for that. " She said getting and sitting close to me on the floor.
Now...if you don't mind, I have to apply a clean drawing to your wound. I must say though...you were a quick To think am fighter. " She gently reached for my leg. I flinched at the touch of her taking it off. She looked at me an smirked.
" You ok? " She asked
"Y-Ya " I stuttered
Why did you stutter? It's like you never saw a girl before." She said trying not to laugh.
She took off the rag and ripped some more from her cloak.
" You know that's your cloak right? "
" No...it's not mine. " She said like it was nothing.
"Who's it then? " I asked trying not to be awkward.
"My dads..." I could tell I hit a subject there...she wiped a tear from her eyes and continued like nothing happened.
It's been a few hours and all she really did was play with her powers, she would occasionally glance at me to check up but she kept her distance. I feel bad...I can tell she's been through a lot...but so have I. I can help her...but she has to let me in...and I still have a mission. Maybe if I befriend her I can get close enough to catch her. I promised zelda I would....I guess I have no choice.
