Chapter 7 Drop the Bomb

Emily POV 

I could hear movement somewhere nearby but I brushed it aside as Elena or Jermey moving around. I wasn't going to say anything though because if they were going to let me sleep I would happily oblige.  

Awhile later I felt an unfamiliar presence in the room which sent my senses into overdrive. I wanted to wake up but something was telling me to stay asleep and I couldn't fight it. 

"She really doesn't look like him, I wonder." Suddenly I felt someone's hand gently run across my cheek before quickly pulling away. 

"No doubt in my mind now, we have a Bennett and Original, interesting." With that said the sensation I had was removed and I fell back into unconsciousness. 

"Emily you have to get up." Elena whined while pushing me out of bed.  

"I'm up," I whined while getting up from the ground a little dizzy. 

"You ok, you look a little green, can vampires even get sick?" Elena asked while taking my arm cautiously. 

"I'm sure it's nothing Elena, i'll just get dressed and meet you downstairs." 

she nodded before leaving and closing the door behind her leaving me alone to get ready. I still didn't feel well as I made my way downstairs but I quickly pushed that aside as I made my way into the kitchen to find Damon, Stefan and Elena talking.  

"We can stop this Elena!" Stefan practically screamed. 

"Yeah but if we do it puts everyone I love in danger!" She screamed while stomping her foot.  

"What's going on in here?" I asked while standing beside Elena.  

"How did you sleep?" Damon asked, breaking the awkward silence. 

"Ok, thanks." I said while slightly leaning against Elena for support.  

Suddenly Damon appeared beside me taking the weight off of Elena. "You don't look to good Em, want me to take you back to bed?" Damon asked seriously. 

"No I can't sleep anymore or I'll get more strange vibes." I groaned while burying my face in Damon's chest. 

"Then were going back to my place." With that said I was scooped up off of the ground as Damon ran out the door. A little while later we arrived at his house where we sat down on the couch.  

"Now Emily I really need to ask you something." Damon said while gently taking hold of my hand which I found to be rather odd.  

"Alright?" I said more as a question then a statement.  

"Elena went to see Katherine yesterday and she told her some things and I don't know if they're true or not." Damon said while giving my hand a gentle squeeze. 

"I always knew Katarina would be my down fall, what did she tell you?" I sighed while leaning into him.  

"Yes what did she tell you?" Rose asked curiously while making her way into the room. 

"Actually it's what she told me and Elena." A voice boomed while making his way into the house, it was Stefan.  

"And what exactly did she tell you?" I asked as he sat down on my other side.  

"She told me about your father and uncle, she also told Elena how you saved her and she told us how your father tried to kill you." I could feel Damon stiffen when Stefan mentioned someone trying to kill me but I pushed it aside. 

"So a better question would have been, what didn't she tell you?" I groaned while rolling my eyes at Stefan.  

"Well she did mention something about a secret that was only your place to tell. Said she didn't need another original on her bad side." Stefan sighed while shrugging his shoulders.
