Morrigan's POV:

"I'm sorry Mog." said Jupiter. I nodded to his shoulder.
"That's okay. Just... I will miss you."
Jupiter pulled me away and looked to my eyes, his hands in my shoulders.
"You are a big girl. I'm leaving you very dangerous things, but you aren't alone. You're strong and Jack is too." he pointed to the staircase, where stood Jack, with non-interested face. I came to him.
"C'mon you. You will miss him as well."
He sighed with annoyed face, but I knew, he don't want Jupiter to be somewhere away. They hugged each other and Jack muttered:
"If one of us will don't survive this experiment, we'll come and kill you. Morrigan will do the murder, and I'll clean the body."
Jupiter laughed and said:
"Okay, okay, I agree, but please, don't kill each other." he stood in oposite of us and saluted. We saluted back and he ran out from the hotel. Door slammed behind him.
"And he's gone." sighed Jack. One tear ran down my cheek, then second and third one. He put his arm around my shoulders. I leaned my forehead against him earlier, than I coyuld realise, what I'm doing.
"Come on... We can't just... Just.. C'mon to do something." he said and pushed me to the elevator.
Rest of the day we stayed in the Smooking Parlour.

"Wundersmith, you aren't listening. Again." said Rook. I snapped back to the reality. I thought about hotel. Again. I thought about papers in Jupiter's office, about ghostly hours in afternoon, about moneys for Frank's parties and balls, about Jupiter himself, and about Fen, because from Tuesday she wasn't home.
"Hm. Sorry Rook. It will not longer happen."
"I already heard this." said Misstress calmly and I nodded.
"So... So again." I took a deep breath and in the middle of room appeared Inferno. I started to wave it to the shape of flower, but my mind again ran back to the hotel, so the flame in oposite of me got a elephant ears, beard, eyepatch, and two string-like feets with big boots. Then it got a strange type of rose to right side, and the flicking bulb to left side. Rook pointed to the... thing.
"Girl, you really need a rest. And for the next time, worries left in unit station."
I nodded, looked sideways and left the room. From the hallway I heard her murmur:
"One stupid gave hotel to kids, and another one leave her in it alone. North, or Korrapati, they are the same."
I thought:
'Rook, I'm not deaf.' and mentaly noticed, that I can't be so tired because of some papers. When I opened the door, something banged to my forehead. I lifted it from the ground.

I went to the empty dining room and habitaly found our table. I sat, still reading the letter. Hawthorne cleaned his throat. When everyone said nothing, he couched loudly. Looking at the list I said first thing, that came to my mind.
"Go away, if you are ill. Anah will prescribe you something. And don't talk, while I'm reading."
Hawthorne did a confused face. Mahir laughed and Cadence pointed:
"So she gave you!"
Hawthrone crossed arms on his chest.
"Jack's manners. Don't be very suprised, when she will start with wearing an eyepatch."
I took a deep breath and put the list to my pocket. I rooted my gaze to my friend.
"If you have any problem with him, go, and say him yourself. I'm not his private secretary."
"No, secretary not." said Hawthrone and handed me a newspaper. I took it unwillingly. I was really starting to hate this pieces of scum.

I raised my eyebrow.
"I read it." told me a dragonrider and I quickly found page 35.
"Before some days the public..." read the quiet voice behind me. I skipped by alarm.
"Lam! You must stop with this. You scared me to death!"
"Don't you think, if I saw, that I can kill you with it, I wouldn't do that?" she asked and sat back to her place.
"Have you something with him?" asked Hawthorne. With non -interested face I browsed the Looking Glass, saying:
"Yep. Hotel."
Francis laughed and Thaddea asked me:
"Why and how you do this, bro?"
I shrugged and said with stone-like face:
"I'm a girl, so there isn't a bro. And sarcasm isn't rudeness. It's an art." I grabbed the wholemeal bun and went from the dining room. The lunch break I'll spend somewhere else.

I pushed the door in Map Room. I wasn't here for a long time. I wakled slowly around the hall. The salty Albertine Ocean, Highlands, all Unnamed Realm. After some time I gathered a courage and went upsairs to the middle of the room. Under me was Nevermoor.
"Look, what all is yours. Look, how umbelieveably beautiful life you have! Look at everything, what you own in this city! You brothers won't even dream about it! They won't come here to see and experience this all! And you're just crying here!" I whipered. My shoulders were shivering and I felt small.
"Because one madman left you! Because you have everything! Because only a week has passed. Because you no longer rule and..." I hid my face to my hands. I was just sobbing for some time, but then I looked to the Nevermoor. Somewhere there is my little copy, crying above the little copy of the town, and inside it another my copy and another, and another. But my friends are there as well. Sofia, Rook and Conall. Cadence, Lam, Arch, Hawthorne, Thaddea, Mahir, Francis and Anah. But Israfel and Miss Cheery too. Somewhere behind the liminal of Gobleian Library are Rhosni and Collin. In the Liminal halls are Kindling and other Wundrous Divinities. And somewhere there is Jack as well. I took a deep breath.
"I can do it!" suddenly I felt like other person. I went from the Map Room and made my way to Sub-Nine.

That afternoon I waved my most beautiful rose.
