"all good in there boy" i whine to tell him yes. It was about mid after noon when we left " the horse cant understand you,Mark" "yes he can, Kelly. I hope May will like this" Mark said to his wife Kelly " she will, she has your love for horses"
We started driving we went from Mackay, Queensland to Proserpine in Queensland about 1 hour away it was boring doing nothing. through Bowen still driving when it started to get dark we stopped at a motel in Townsville, i was brought out for a walk. I was a hot dry place, Like Australia is.
" Mark i think the horse is dead, it wont move" " he cant be dead" mark walked over like he new i wasn't dead" his ears are moving" Mark told Kelly " can you load him up i don't trust wild brumbys, remember Cox he didn't even like being loaded let alone riding" Kelly told Mark but still looking at me " yes i can remember that horse, but he was crazy this eyes were white most of the time this one has nice eyes, anyway he was part Shetland pony and they have bad issues, lets get loaded its already 9am we should be in Cloncurry by 8 tonight then its only 2 hours from there" "good i need to be home, how do you think May is?" Kelly yelled as Mark was loading me " she has probably done none of her chores and has listened to Turn 'N Burn over and over"
Another long day of driving again today was the longest i have been in a float. at night fall we enter a town called cloncurry, a small town about 120 km from Mt Isa Queensland.
That night was even hotter then in Townsville, at about 10am they came out and got in the Ute, and headed on the main highway within 2 hours we turned onto a long driveway. When the driveway ended they got out "welcome to your new home, boy"
