I try to ring dad, over and over and over "ahh, he didn't answer again" this is the 20th time I have called him. Why won't he answer "call him once more" I look over my shoulder to see Ned standing  there "morn' sleeping beauty" I say, he was up 2 hours later than we usually do but there is not much to do today, the stable burned down last night and dad didn't come home "apparently there was a big flood just out of town last night" Ned comes up and puts his arms around me then gives me a kiss on the cheek "love you" he tells me. I forgot to update you guys on what's happening on the farm, apart from the stable, we had a hell of a lot of rain, Peter is now in prison on trespass and intention of harm and one little thing um, well my mum died, yeah it was kind of sudden, Ned helped me the best he could I now he has been hurt in the past like with his parents and the divorce, it happened about 4 weeks ago. She was driving home from a appointment with the bank the loan for an extension on the stable fell through, I guess she was in a bad mood and well now one now exactly what happened but the UTE was found flipped on the side of the road the next morning, she was gone.... there was not much to say, the funeral was big  the whole town came, she was a big person in the community, I will miss her a lot. I can't even think about her without crying.

"May, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me" I turn quickly, did he just say what I think he did? "I can't ignore it anymore, I like you May, like, like like" what do I say, um yeah Ned I would love to go out with you, nah that is to ford maybe yes. Too simple. "sure sound great but it depends what we are going to do, what about a movies" I love a good movie. He gave me a half IF I DON'T TELL YOU NOW I'M GOING TO DIE I AM SO EXITED and half stay cool don't let her now that you are nerves look, " um, how dose the Jason Aldean concert sound" OH MY GOD I had been saving money for like forever to go to that concert, I didn't get enough money though,  "maybe I want to go, maybe I don't" playing hard to get, I think that is what I should do. Oh I remember last summer he grabbed my phone out of my room for me. " ok, I want to go bad, what kind of seats did you get, how did you het seats the concert has been sold out for like months" I have to ask the questions "I got front row seats and I bought them when the tickets went on sale first, I had to fight off a mob of screening girls to get it though so you better be grateful" oh I was very grateful, and I'M GOING TO JASON ALDEAN!!!!
