Rose's POV

I was standing in the kitchen of my fathers' house. I was looking at nothing in particular as I was waiting for the water to boil. When it was done boiling, I filled my cup with it and walked to the living room. I sat down on the couch and enjoyed my cup of tea.

I sighed as I looked around, again at nothing in particular. My eyes landed on the clock. 2.11 am... It's so late!

I wondered why I wasn't sleeping. I should get enough rest, I'm getting married tomorrow! Why wasn't I able to sleep? Was I really that nervous? I didn't feel nervous...

I decided to watch some tv. I put the noise down a bit so I wouldn't wake up my fathers. I was going through channels. As it was nighttime, there wasn't really anything interesting to see.

"Princess?"

I looked to my right and saw my fathers. I sighed. "I was hoping I didn't wake you two up."

They walked to me. Papa went to sit down while dad stood next to him. Papa looked worried at me. "What are you doing here? Is everything alright?"

I shrugged. "I don't know," I looked at the cup of tea in my hands. "I mean, I'm fine," I sighed. "I just can't seem to sleep," I looked at them again and I could see how they got more nervous by my answers. "But I'm fine, really."

They looked at each other before looking at me. "Why don't I get us some more tea?" Dad suggested and went to the kitchen before I could even reply.

Papa looked in the direction dad was going to before giving me all his attention again. "I think you're nervous about tomorrow," He said softly. "Getting married..." A smile found its way on his face. "It's a big step."

I smiled too. "Yeah," I nodded slowly. "I'm nervous about it, but good nervous, you know?"

He nodded.

I looked down a bit. "But I'm also nervous about the future." I looked at him again.

He raised one eyebrow. "The future? What's there to be nervous about?"

I shrugged. "I can't shake off this feeling that I have to worry about something," I sighed. "It's dumb, isn't it?"

"No," He took my hand in his. "I know how you feel, everyone feels like that at some point in their life."

"Really?"

He nodded. "I think it's important you keep talking about that feeling, especially to Cora."

I nodded.

Right then, dad came back with 3 cups of tea. He handed all of us a cup. Even though I still had a cup that was about halfway down, he gave me a new one.

"To us?" Dad tried. I bet he could tell papa and I talked about something serious.

"To love." Papa said, smiling at me.

I smiled too. "To love."

Cora's POV

I yawned as I sat down at the table in the kitchen. "Here," Dara said, giving me a cup of coffee. "This will help."

"Thanks," I said, immediately taking a sip. "That's better indeed."

She put the final few items on the table before sitting down too. She then started making breakfast for herself. I was watching her take the things she wanted to eat. "Aren't you going to eat?" She finally asked me.

I shrugged. "I'm not really hungry..."

She eyed me a bit. "What's bothering you?"

I looked at her. "What do you mean?"
