I'm worried for the reaping. Not just because I could get picked but because my younger sister could or my 14 year old cousin in district 5.

My sister Josie and I walk to the reaping together hand in hand, we are very close. We sign in then Josie goes to the 16 year old section and I go to the 20 year old section.

After a couple minuets Francesca (district 7's escort) walks out.

"Welcome to the 150th annual Hunger Games, let begin right away" she says "ladies first"

I wait nervously to find out if Josie got picked "Josie Mason" Francesca yells.

No.....please someone volunteer, please but nobody says a word. I look over at Josie and she gives me a quick frightened glance but the she pulls on a strong face and walks up to the stage

"Excellent now for the men, Luke Mason" she calls out. Oh crap. I forgot that I could be going into the games as well.

My worst night mare came true.

I'm going into the Hunger Games with my sister.

As I walk up to the stage I don't take my eyes off Josie. She is now crying so hard that she can't control herself.

"Well won't this be exciting a brother and sister going into the Hunger Games together" Francesca says "now you two shake hands"

I reach out and grab her hand and shake it.

Josie and I share the same room since we have the same family. But we get no visitors because we have no parents. They died in a lumber accident when I was 13 and Josie was 9.

Josie and I spend the entire visiting time in each others arms. Josie cries and cries and cries, I feel as though I'm going to cry but I can't, I must stay strong for Josie. After a couple minutes it's time to board the train.

I can only hope our cousin didn't get picked.
