Hello all who decided to read this book (depending on if I even got anywhere on this).

So, to be quite honest, this book and it's storyline was a very random thing that came to me when reading another one of those still-good Finnick fics where they win their games, become a desirable, become besties with him, are secretly in love with him and him them, fight together in the quarter quell, have absolutely no impact on the story despite the fact that they were so amazing, and end up with him only for him to die and they basically become Annie (heartbreaking all the same by the way).

I wanted a happy ending, I've been searching for a different kind of character who, instead of being described as heartless but still clearly are also simultaneously described as the kindest person ever, are basically a career and have some guilt over what they did but something doesn't allow them to feel it for they felt their ends justified their means if you know what I mean. And so, this idea was born that perhaps District Thirteen wouldn't just sit around with little to no knowledge of what an actual tributes life is like and so, Coin being the little bitch she is, sends in a little orphan girl with nothing but the respect of those whom she owes everything to lose. It makes sense if you think about it, at least it does to me even if I am a little behind on every little thing in the universe (please let me know nicely if I got anything wrong at any point during the story and I will do my best to fix it).

This story will have some very serious topics by the way, as comes with the territory of talking about children mass-murdering each other. So don't be surprised if there's a lot of swearing, I mean, guys, their world is complete and utter crap I would be swearing just as much if I were them. Maybe even more. I also find it very enjoyable to write scenes that can be found very very gory so be forewarned.

There will be no smut. I as an author don't think it would fit in with the story nor is it at all going to be part of it. Sorry or you're welcome to all those who either wanted it or didn't.

I claim no rights to this wonderful universe and it's characters created by Suzanne Collins. Gosh I wish I had been that brilliant to create such a world wide favorite but I didn't and so I am only hoping to add my piece into the story as a way to compensate. I only claim the rights to our main, Nivea Vida, and those in her games and maybe a few others that are, as of currently, unnamed and countless in their mystery.

I also suggest reading this in light mode (or whatever it's called. It's the white one) as I have some things that can only be viewed to their full effect in that color thing. :D

Two side notes real quick before I, the wonderfully sadistic author who loves to put her characters through hell, sign off and leave you to read the story. 1: I am honestly so proud of the blurb I mean, if you're reading this it must've caught your interest, right? 2: just look at that cover! I tried my hand at it before but decided to try a commission and SincerelyLoki really outdid themselves! Thanks sm again!
