Day 11.

(Esther's Point of View)

I woke up to Nate pushing me off the bed. I landed on the ground with a big thud and I let out a loud 'ow'. Nate popped up as I just layed there. "Esther! What are you doing down there?" I groaned and said, "You pushed me Nathaniel." He got out of bed and helped me up. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize." I rolled my eyes and went to my room to change. We got down to lunch and we began to eat when I felt off.

(Nate's Point of View)

I know Esther is a little mad at me. But when eating, she ate half her bowl of soup, then looked at me suddenly, and whimpered. I looked at her confused and quickly I realized she was in serious trouble. Her face turned red, then purple and she was struggling to breathe. I ran to the medical bag and got an epi pen out. I ran back and stabbed her inner thigh with it. I picked her up and put her in the car. I raced to the hospital where she was immediately taken from me. I didn't know what to do.

It was hours until a doctor called her name. I stood up and he led me to her room. She had tubes everywhere and it broke my heart. The doctor said she was stable, but she looks terrible. I ordered a bunch of flowers for her, knowing she hates hospitals.

I kissed her head and sat down next to her.

Day 12

Esther is still asleep and has all the tubes in her face. Flowers surround her room. I haven't left her side. My mom came by and left some clothes for both of us. She stayed for a few hours, told me I looked like a wreck, and that Esther should be awake soon.

Esther woke up a few hours later. I heard her begin to gag due to the breathing tube. I hit the nurse button and a nurse ran in. She removed the tube and gave me a glass of water with a straw to give to Esther. I kissed her forehead and said softly. "I'm glad your awake sweetheart." She took small sips and once she finished the glass, "Nate, what happened?" I got out of the chair and sat down on the side of her bed. "We had someone new in the kitchen and they didn't know about your allergy, so we implemented new rules. I used an epi pen on you and rushed you here." She smiled and said. "Thank you."

(Esther's point of View)

The doctor came in and said, "We'll have you on soft food for today and you can be released tomorrow. Your husband is allowed to be here until you are released." We both thanked him and I raised an eyebrow at him after the doctor left. "Husband huh?" Nate chuckled awkwardly, then said, "I only said that so I could stay with you."

Day 13.

Today I was released from the hospital with a new epi pen and cough drops for my sore throat. We didn't really have anything to do today. So Nate had me relax all day, since tomorrow I have to shop for my wedding dress.
