Day 22.
(Nate's Point of View)
Since I know Esther is going to sign soon, I want her to get her nails done. So I made an appointment for her today at eight in the morning. I got up, got dressed, picked up Esther, put her over my shoulder, and walked out.
(Esther's Point of View)
I woke up to Nate throwing me over his shoulder and running. "Nate!" He just laughed as he went towards the car.
We stopped in front of a nail salon. "Nate?" He shrugged me off and walked me in. I sat down and I told the nice man what I wanted.
Once I finished, Nate paid and we left. He looked at my nails and told me he loved them. Next we ended up at a park. Nate took my hand and walked me over to a blanket. It was a picnic. We ate our meal and just talked.
Day 23.
(Nate's Point of View)
I woke up to groaning and something wet on the bed. I looked and realized that Esther got her menstrual cycle. I got out of bed, got a black towel, put it on the couch, and put Esther on the couch. I took off the sheets and tossed them in the laundry bin. I put new sheets on and took Esther to the bathroom. I wiped her down and put on new underwear with a pad on them and shorts on her. Then carried her back to bed.
(Esther's Point of View)
I woke up to bad cramps. I sat up and groaned. I looked around and Nate walked in holding a glass of water and some pills. "Hey Sweetie, I brought some pain meds and some water just in case." I smiled, appreciative of him. I took the pills and I asked Nate, "Hey, Nathaniel? Could I possibly get a heat pad and tacos?" He smiled at me and gave me a soft kiss. "Of course, hun."
An hour later I had tacos and a heat pad.
Throughout the day; Nate was super sweet. "Wait, Nate.. How did you know that I got my period?" He looked sheepishly at me and said, "Well, I found blood on the sheets last night and I realized. But don't worry, I changed the sheets and cleaned you up as quickly as I could." I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you, I'm thankful for how nice and sweet you are."
Day 24.
(Esther's Point of View)
Today we mainly just stayed in the bedroom. My cramps weren't as bad as yesterday, but they weren't gone yet. I wasn't super hormonal but I had my moments and Nate knew how to handle every situation. I mainly only ate ice cream and chips with dr. pepper.
