I was just thinking off the top of my head-Sonny De La Vegax reader.

I started to heat a microwave dinner checking the time, half an hour until Mila and Mom got home from their first day at the salon. I sit down and eat my dinner and scroll through my phone. 'Three messages from Sonny'. I open them and instantly smile at my phone. He said "You and your fam should come over 4 blackout Dinner" "if u are available" "Then we can   light some fireworks!!" I replied "Of course I would love to! thanks for the invite!!" I'm so excited and finish my dinner quickly. The apartment had cooled down as I flopped onto my bed, Today had been a pretty big day and tomorrow I would Have my first day of school. I'm so nervous but at least ill have Sonny there. I scroll on my phone for a bit and realise that Mila and mom aren't home yet and it's almost an hour since they were supposed to be here. I call Sonny and he picks up straight away. 

"Hey Y/N! What's up?" He says casually

"My mom and sister aren't here, it's been around 45 minutes since they were supposed to be here!!" I say in a rush.

"Have they messaged you or anything?" He asks.

"no, they are offline on social media and haven't texted or had any contact with me and I'm getting a bad feeling," I say biting my fingers.

"Okay, are you okay? Want me to come over? I'm at my Abuelas with Usnavi for the night so I can easily come over if you would like" He says comforting me

"Yes please come over!! Thank you so much, I'll see you soon. Bye!" I say as I hang up. I decided to call my mom again and then my sister but neither of them answer. I walked around for a bit waiting for sonny and looking out windows seeing if any of them were there. Finally, I hear a knock at the door and It's Sonny and Usnavi. 

"Hey sorry I bought Usnavi too! Are you okay?" Sonny says as I open the door.

I invite them in and say "Yes I'm fine but I'm not sure about my family." 

"We should start looking soon. I asked Vanessa and Daniella, Carla and Cuca to meet us at the corner to see if they knew anything." Usnavi says Checking his messages. 

"Good idea, Let's go now and see if we can find them," Sonny replies pulling on his backpack and leaving. I must've been shaking or something because Sonny noticed something was up. "Hey Y/N it's okay!! We'll find them Maybe they got lost or went out for dinner or something like that." Sonny says putting his hand on my shoulder reassuring me. 

We went down to the corner seeing all Cuca, Carla, Daniella and Vanessa standing there looking around for us. I mean it must've been them, The nails, hair makeup and clothes.

"Yo guys, Thanks for meeting us here, Let's walk down to the salon and look for them, have you seen them since they were supposed to leave?" Usnavi says locking eyes with Vanessa. I nudge Sonny and we laugh at how hopeless they both are. Sonny always put a smile on my face even in the roughest of times... I mean so far at least.

"No, we saw them leaving the shop at 5:30 ish walking around a bit. they might be at that new arcade/Restaurant thing that opened down the road." Carla says. 

"I'm sure Vanessa saw something because she ran from work to see you Usnvai." Says Daniella rolling her eyes.

"Ahem" Coughs Sonny as he starts to walk along to Daniella's Salon. 

as we get closer I start to run speeding to the shop window just to see they aren't there. Until I spot something.

"Hey, guys!!" I wave all of them over. "I'm pretty sure that's Milas Phone!!" I say squinting to see. 

"Are you sure? maybe try to call it" Sonny says. I pull out my phone and call it. The phone rings but nobody is around...

We start to walk around the streets and alleys for a while sceptical of where they might be. We check into the arcade and restaurant but they aren't there. I have no idea where they would be. I sink to the back of the group feeling sick in my stomach and trying to wipe the tears out from my eyes but it makes it worse.  Sonny Glances back and see's me wiping my face quickly.

"It's okay, they cant of gone too far," Sonny says trying to get me to look into his eyes. I start sobbing and he instantly pulls me into a hug. As some might say I 'Cried into his shoulder' but it doesn't matter. He was there for me. Finally, I feel a ding in my pocket as my phone is buzzing. 

I look through my messages. "4 new messages from Mom" I quickly read through them wiping my eyes. they said:

"Y/N I'm so sorry I only just got home and my phone was flat. Only just saw your texts and calls now. didn't mean to scare you."

"Where are you? Are you safe? Who are you with?"

"Mila also left her Phone at Daniella's. silly girl."

"Y/N Come home now please and call me when you can."

I laugh and show them all the texts. 

I reply "Hey Mom it's okay. I was scared at first but don't worry I'm with Usnavi, Sonny, Vanessa, Carla, Daniella and Cuca. I think ill stay at Sonny's tonight cause it's closer and I won't have to walk by myself home." I see her read it and she sends back a thumbs up. 

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed so I slept on their couch like a baby. It was nice and cool and I felt safe. I was also a bit mad at my Mom and Mila and I wasn't particularly in the mood to see them.
