*Y/N's POV:*

After 5 more minutes of walking and talking we enter the school, it was small and there were lots of kids! I look around the area and see a lot of dying grass and a few very popular water taps. Sonny pulls me over to one of the benches, there Sat Kamila, Alexa, Sebastian and Andre. Kamila and Alexa were on their phones and didn't notice us arrive until Sonny said in a commentator's voice:  "Goodmorning everyone, as you can see we have a new person joining us... Dun dun dun! Her name is Y/N!!" He points to me gesturing I lead them on.

"Hello! I'm Y/N, I have moved here from Indiana with my mom and sister Mila, and I only met Sonny about two days ago and he got me interested in protesting and social justice for our community." I said as I turned to look at him.

"Nice to meet you!" Alexa and Kamila both say whipping their hands out for me to shake, I laugh not knowing who's to shake first.  

"Hi I'm Alexa, I love all that protesting and equality stuff too! I'm so glad you're here." Alexa says smiling. "Hi I'm Kamila and I'm not very interesting but you seem to be! So nice to have a fresh personality here!" Kamila says high fiving me.

"Hey I'm Sebastian but you can call me Seb, I like to watch football, be outdoors and be with my family and friends. I love rapping and dancing." He says half smiling.

"Sup, I'm Andre or 'Dre' and I want to know how old your sister Mila is!" He says with a  smirk. Sonny and I both laugh and say "Ewwww" At the same time. I see the girls eyes flick to each other and I notice them nudging one another under the table.

"So what time do we have to be in class?" I question checking the time.

"Well we have to be at homeroom but 8:45 and it's only 8:34 so we should probably start to head in soon." Says Kamila.

I nod and check my homeroom, "I'm in 7.6 Johnston?" I say squinting at my paper. 

"That sounds about right! The same as Alexa and I!" Says Sonny excitedly. 

We all pull our backpacks up and head into the main entrance packed with kids. We take a couple of turns and spilt into our homerooms. Sonny stops at his locker on the way and Alexa and I keep walking. 

"So how did you meet Sonny?" Alexa says suspiciously. 

"Hmm well I went down to the Bodega for some drinks and Sonny served me off milk and then Usnavi walked in and kind of insulted his customers but not directly," I say but I see the shocked look on Alexa's face.

 "No no, dont worry he was joking, then Sonny ran after me and apologised and through that all we got to know each other a bit more and then my sister and mom were missing so we went looking for them and got into a fight so I stayed at Usnavis house with Sonny last night and I realised how charming he was!" I say catching my breath.

"ahhh I see, do you like him?" Alexa says nudging me

"Well..dont tell anyone but I think I might. I've never had a crush before so I'm not sure but I know that we are best friends and I feel so comfortable around him, almost like we are family." I say feeling my face go warm.

"You guys would be such a Super Couple! Sonny is the only single person in our friend group so you guys would be perfect, I'll do some more investigating if you want? I might have to get Kamila and Seb in it though..." Alexa says clapping her hands all energised. 

"Really? Wow, thanks." I say as I Couldn't hide my smile.

"Yo guys wait up!" sonny said panting.

Alexa and I both looked at each other and laughed.

"uh, what's so funny??" Sonny says confused looking between the both of us.

Again sorry for the short chapter I'm just trying to give the characters some development. Enjoy Reading <3 Also please give me some extra details, plots or Ideas that you might want me to include. ( 711 words haha)
