*Three-day skip*
Sonnys POV:

It's after school on a Thursday and I finally don't have work so I text Y/N, I want to get closer to her and I want her to trust me more, she often finds herself chatting with the girls more than me. I do like her and Usnavi told me he thinks we would be a cute couple. I like her but I don't think she feels the same way.

"Hey what are you doing?" I text, almost instantly she replies.

"Nothing I'm soooo bored, Can I come over?? Mila's made friends with Vanessa so they're going out for dinner and my mom's staying later at the salon. Bit lonely here lol" She says. I feel bad for her so I decide to just let her come over but we could just stay in my room, right?

"Oh sure but you know about my dad? if we just stay in my room or go for a walk he won't say anything." I say back.

"Okay I'm leaving now" She replies.

I wait out the door for her and let her in.

"Hi, Sonny!"! She says hugging me

"hey, just remember...." I say pointing to the door. She nods and we walk in. My dad notices us.

"Ahem. Who are you?" he says eyeing Y/N up and down.

Y/Ns POV:

I feel a bit worried...

"Hello, I'm Sonny friend Y/N. Nice to meet you."

"Mhm," He says. "When did you meet?" he scoffs sipping his beer.
I notice all the bottles and an esky filled with more. Poor Sonny...
", Um we met at the Bodega when he was working not long ago," I say looking back at Sonny. We are just gonna chill in my room or something." Sonny says rushing me to his room.

"Sonny I am so sorry. You know you can stay with my family ANY time you would like. Come over for dinner tonight even!" I say.

"Hm..Okay. If that's okay with your mom?" He says.

"Of course it will be! In fact just stay over" I say.

"Okay, I'll pack now. Meet me outside?" He said
I nod and walk out not looking at his dad. I really didn't know what home life was like for him. I zone out looking at the floor. I notice it chipping off and getting mouldy.
"Okay I'm all ready." Sonny says with a small backpack
We walk back 10 minutes down the block and get into my apartment block. I check the mail and then we walk up all the stairs.

"I feel so unfit" puffs sonny.
"I don't even have enough breath to laugh" I say between wheezes.
We walk into my room and get unpacked. Okay my bed is really small so you can sleep in it and I'll sleep on the mattress.
"Are you sure?!" Sonny says placing his bag down.
"Duh" I nod
We basically just talk and stuff until I get an alert on my phone.
"Oh shittt" I say tapping Sonny's shoulder not looking up from my phone. "Blackout tomorrow, no school for precautions." I read out.
"Ayyee!"  Sonny says cheering and doing a little dance.
Oh my gosh am I blushing?!
"Oh! Should we make something for tomorrows dinner? What about cookies?!" I say and my eyes fill with hunger.
"Y/N...Best idea I've ever had!" Sonny says high fiving me...
