Song: I Love You More Than Anyone by Twice

Jeonghan's POV:

"Each of the members needs to have a partner. Your partners will be the one to assist you with your training. And for your information, they will be your partners for the masquerade ball." Casually putting my hands inside my pocket, I walked blankly while Mr. Hwang explained all the rules.

"But what if I don't like my partner?" I looked upon to who was talking and it was none other than Yoo Jeongyeon.

"Your partners are already final." That cold response from Mr. Hwang made Jeongyeon to curl her lips. I decided to laugh but as usual, she glared at me.

"Agent Boo, Minghao, Joshua and Woozi will be exempted as their all part of the tech team."

"What training are we going to do Mr. Hwang?" Chaeyoung raised her hands like a student asking for her teacher's permission.

"There are tons of training that you're required to do. All of you needs to learn basic skills and improve it more. For now, you can pick one training that you ought to. But remember, you need to learn everything. Although you can change your courses from time to time because each of you will have schedules for each training next week."

"So, it's just like school. I'm done  attending classes." Chaeyoung as she is, walked lazily as she's dragging her feet creating screeching sounds.

Time flies by as we arrived at the area. Each training room are far as you need to take few steps to travel from one room to another. Before you could enter, the doors have neon light hangul signs, labelling the names of the room to avoid confusion.

"Wow, this is big." As soon as Jeongyeon opened the door, her jaw dropped from the site of the shooting range. She chose it herself.

"There are a lot of guns." By herself, she fully scanned each sides of the room. She kept going back and forth just to detect every little details. By the end of her observation, she landed again on the guns displayed and hanging on the wall.

"As a beginner, I highly recommend you using a handgun. There, Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0." She backed away when she finally noticed my presence.

"Are you pestering me? Why are you here?" Her face went from amusement to depressed.

"How funny. I'm your partner Jeongyeon." Stating the obvious, she have no choice but to get along with me for two months.

"Where is Jihyo and Momo?" She didn't give any glances but continued looking at the guns.

"I assume that they chose boxing along with their partners Seokmin and Soonyoung."

"How about Mina? I thought she chose shooting?"

"I saw her going in the gadgets room earlier. Maybe she'll come here afterwards."

"How about Chaeyoung and Dahyun? Tzuyu, Nayeon and the re—"

"Are you annoying me?" I bet she does so I cut her off before she could say anything more.

"Why not. You always do that to me right?" She gave me a childish look, sticking out her tongue like a kid.

"Aish!"

Jun's POV:

"Why am I the only one who chose fencing?" The cute girl beside me mumbled by herself. I know it was not intended for me to hear it, but it's too late.

"Because you're unique."

"Oh." She froze, looking at me with a blank reaction. I badly want to laugh at her face since she's innocently confused. At the same time, I can't. The words that I brought up was completely insane and awkward.

"Did I sound weird?"

"Not at all." Shooking her head from side to side, she immediately avoided me by turning her back. But before she looked away, I captured a smile on her face, for a second.

"Am I making you uncomfortable? I mean, you're laughing at me." I scratched my head as she turned to face me again.

"I won't laugh if I'm uncomfortable right?" Considering the difference of our height, she stared at me from above, creating large, doe eyes.

Well, she has a point.

As she was checking out the place, she sighed deeply out of nowhere. That caused me to wake up and see if she's okay.

"Is everything alright?" She sighed once again and that caused me to be more worried. I literally went beside her just to make sure she's okay.

"I'm just a normal girl who goes to school. I'm not even interested in fighting. To be honest, I can't even slap somebody. How much more if I'll attend the ball and face a lot of opponents. I'll probably die right?"

I chuckled. Really. I was about to die earlier because of her sighs that were deeper than the ocean. It turns out that her actions doesn't match with her thoughts.

"That's why there is a training. Don't worry too much and focus on the present. If you'll do, who knows, you can change the future." I ended my small speech and put both of my hands inside my pocket.

"You're right." The girl in front of me is busy with her thoughts. She seemed like she took my advice seriously because she's looking above, nodding her head repeatedly. Her eyes were too focused on something so I decided to check on what she's looking. But bro, she's looking at nothing.

"Right, right." She mumbled, talking to herself at this point.

"Sana-ssi, you'll be good. I'm always here to protect you." I tried my best to say it with a casual tone. Fortunately, I didn't stutter because I would really want the ground to swallow me whole out of embarrassment.

"Really? Then, I should get to know you more." I keep on walking away but she keeps on following me too. No matter how hard I tried to hide myself, she always pops in front of me, trying her best to peek at my reaction. To be fair, maybe I can't control my emotions and I admit that I'm shy whenever she's around. I then saw how her lips curved and that she looks interested about getting to know me more.

I shut my mouth, not knowing how to start a conversation about myself. My head is filled with thoughts and it's getting heavier as time goes by.

"If you don't want to, then I'll do something rather than it,"

"I'll follow you wherever you go."
